Introduction / Foreword

This little treatise is written in order to tell people certain truths in a world where ignorance and misinformation walk hand in hand. The subjects depicted about current matters like Islam, Muslim, jihad, terrorism, are to answer the accusations and slanders against Islam, Islam’s sacred values and Muslims…

Yes, both Islam and Muslims have words to say and answers to give.

The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (sav) is the last prophet of Islam and a role model for Muslims, his words of wisdom and practices include dimensions which must be followed by everybody who says “I am Muslim.” In this context, Islam only permits war when necessary and permits jihad based on self defense and Messenger Muhammad (sav) also had jihad against the cruel...

Well then how did he do it? Did he fight (for revenge) carelessly and infinitely like some of the terrorists who are so-called representatives of Muslims or did he bestow upon human beings the finest example about that matter hundreds of years ago?

The title of the book was, “Messenger Muhammad Asks: Hey Osama, Why did you kill?” Although the title may seem surprising, it is real, the whole event is real and it is an evident document of Messenger Muhammad’s (sav) exemplifying personality and his superior ethics. In the coming pages are the details of that event and you will also find that Islam and Messenger Muhammad (sav) are far from any kind of cruelty and hideousness.

This book, at the same time, is a call for repentance for those who appear in the name of Islam, who apply cruelty to fight the cruel, who bring evil to Islam and Muslims, who - intentionally or unintentionally - cooperate with the enemy and voluntarily become devil’s soldiers and for the ignorant and the evil who easily apply non-Islamic methods… It’s an invitation to apply and enhance legitimate methods in fighting the cruel… Humans are apt to make mistakes and do wrong, but the important thing is to realize that, to back away from fallacy, to internalize truth, to repent and give up doing wrong.

Well, people like Osama Bin Laden and organizations like Al Qaeda can never be the representatives of Islam and Muslims and the way they follow is impossible to succeed… They may be aware or unaware of it, but they are ignorant and wicked people who are in the content in the verses “the ones who believe in part of the scripture and disbelieve in part.” (2/85)… For what they do, they don’t give any benefit to Islam and Muslims but rather harm their image; they cause cruelties not to decrease but increase a lot more.

Actually a believer is someone “who examines all words and then follows the best” (39/18); this book is written so as to depict some of such basic truths, hoping it will be beneficial to those who take its message to heart.

All mistakes are ours, but all truth, Islam’s.

« And Peace on the messengers! And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. »

(Holy Qur’an, as-Saaffat, 37/181-182)

Main Questions

What is a human? A superior being with the ability to think… Yes, an intelligent human is not fooled by everything told or he doesn’t believe every claim; he tries to comprehend the truth of the matter… So, what about a little bit of learning, comprehending a little bit of the realities?.. Here are the first questions;

What is Islam? Who is (Messenger) Muhammad (sav)? Who is called Muslim? What is Islamic struggle (jihad)? Is terrorism an Islamic way? Can the ones applying non-Islamic ways, be representatives of Islam and Muslims? Is it possible to reach success and Allah’s assent, with non-Islamic ways?

Whether because of numerous accusations and slanders against Islam in the Western countries or due to the ignorance that lives in Muslims, we have to express the reality by giving short answers to these main questions;

What is Islam?

Islam is Allah’s religion, it is the mutual reality announced by Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally by Muhammad (sav) and it has certain religious and logical principles; literally it means “peace (reconciliation), well being (salvation), safety (security), submission (obedience)… To live in peace, safety and comfort by submitting to Allah… The principal verses and hadiths about this matter are;

« The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will)... » (3/19)

« So if they dispute with thee, say: “I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me.” And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: “Do ye (also) submit yourselves?” If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants. » (3/20)

« If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good). » (3/85)

« ...This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion... » (5/3)

« Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe. » (6/125)

« Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)! » (39/22)

« Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong. » (61/7)

« Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). » (61/8)

« It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). » (61/9)

***

Islam is built on five pillars: Testifying that there is no other god than Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and prophet, performing the namaz, paying the zakat, making the pilgrimage to Mecca, fasting in Ramadan.”

(Bukhari, Faith 1; Muslim, Faith 22; Nasai, Faith 13; Tirmizhi, Faith 3)

(Islam) is to say ‘I submit myself to Allah, I forsook anything else’, to perform the namaz, to give zakat. Each Muslim’s right is forbidden to another (unless freely given). Two Muslims are brothers of each other and must help one other. If a Muslim doesn’t leave idol worshippers and mingles with non-Muslims after he becomes a Muslim, none of his deeds will be acceptable (in the sight of Allah).

(Nasai, Offering (Zakat) 72)

“He who says ‘I chose Allah as the Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as His Messenger (and I am pleased with them)’ will surely go to Heaven.”

(Abu Dawoud, Prayers 361)

“He who believes that there is no god other than Allah, that Allah is the one and only and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, that Jesus Christ is also His Servant and Messenger, a soul of Himself thrown into Virgin Mary with just a Word, that heaven and hell are truth, no matter what his deeds are Allah will (eventually) put him in His heaven.”, “He who believes that there is no god other than Allah and that Muhammad is His Servant, Allah will forbid him from fire (hell).”

(Bukhari, Prophets 47; Muslim, Faith 46; Tirmizhi, Faith 17)

(Belief is;) “Believing in Allah, His angels, His books, His prophets and judgment day. Also believing in fate, in other words that good and evil comes from Allah.”

(Muslim, Faith 1; Nasai, Faith 6; Abu Dawoud, Sunnah 17; Tirmizhi, Faith 4; Bukhari, Faith 37)

Sufyan b. 'Abdulla al-Thaqafi said: I asked “O’ Messenger of Allah tell me about Islam a thing which might dispense with the necessity of my asking anybody after you.” He replied:

“Say I affirm my faith in Allah and then remain steadfast to it.”

(Muslim, Faith 62)

Islam is a unique way which turns the impossible into possible, nations that are completely idle and defeatist into model personalities with a matchless revolution. No one can explain such a progress and evolution with this or that comment. Muhammad (sav) is the Messenger of Allah and this is His unique miracle…

Islam is a religion which holds in place the faith detracted from its essence and went too far which ends depravity and intemperance, deviance and vagaries… It is a religion which answers the calumnies told about previous messengers by depicting their exemplifying lives, which introduces Allah to His servants, which shows the way to felicity in both worlds, which calls to defy servitude to servants, which invites to become servants to the one and only Allah, which breaks off and throws away chains, which treats humans as humans and glorifies them, which organizes life, which straightens out relations, which ensures improvements, which enlightens the eras, which unfolds fake holiness and imprisonment and which places individuals at their actual status…

Who can defend the idea that such a religion is wrong? Islam is completely bright, it is the religion of Allah far from the filth tried to be injected in, it is a way He chose for us; the waterfall of hope, the source of patience, the adviser of beneficence, the forbidder of evil… The ones who don’t like this wonderful rules of His, are the mindless who want to become gods, prejudiced people who cannot step to the essence of things or evaluate the realities on a large scale.

“Worship to anyone else than Allah is nought; it is insane to be with nought.” Imam Rabbani

Qur’an is the holy book of this religion, the greatest miracle of that heavenly Messenger; It is a book which is an ultramodern source of light everything it says takes place; it is a document whose correctness is confirmed and whose challenging cannot be answered, which is unique, extraordinary, out of human dimensions, sent by Allah, consistent, which separates truth from falsehood, which is the only guidance…

Islam preserves people from deviance, depravity, intemperance, deterioration, racism, paganism, illiteracy (ignorance), blind devotion (imitation), fecklessness, destructiveness, defeatism, desperation, deceit, antagonism, ridicule, separation, confusion, lovelessness, loneliness… I am asking again; what else could the person have done but bewilderment who calls such a way “needless, drug and bad”?

By the way, I should point out that those who would turn their backs to realities; the arrogant, the stubborn, the ignorant, the imitators, the prejudiced, the ones following their desire, the liars, the bigots, the inconsiderate, the ones who don’t want to think… and the cruel!.. The suspicion and disbelief of such people have no value against the truth, how could they?

Overall, Islam is not to force people to believe or worship, Islam is not terrorism, Islam is not a hostility against Jesus or Moses, Islam is not to refuse progress, Islam is not to exclude women from life, Islam is not custom or tradition, Islam is not violence, Islam is not to cut hands - to decapitate - to stone to death, Islam is not the actual life of a Muslim… Islam is the way to reach felicity both on Earth and eternity (after-life), it is the definite measure for faith and ethics, it is the true path of Allah and an invitation to heaven.

Who is Messenger Muhammad (sav)?

Prophet Muhammad (sav) is a model Messenger who was called al-Ameen (the one who is reliable) by his own community, to whom his enemies continued to deliver their belongings under his security just because of his superior personality although they didn’t believe him and who had paramount ethics. He is the last prophet chosen and sent to humans by Allah and many of his miracles, first of all the Qur’an, declare his prophethood. Just his way of life, the trials he suffered, his loyalty and sincerity on the matter is enough to prove the integrity of his claim; No one would struggle so much and suffer the troubles for an untrue or made-up case. All in all, the way he succeeded in his message, fulfilled the of consent Allah properly and the way he enlightened the world by turning a corrupt community into model personalities are all evidences of his prophethood.

It is impossible and illogical for the ones who believe in any religion or any prophet to deny Islam, the Qur’an or Messenger Muhammad (sav), because there isn’t any characteristics that their prophets have and Messenger Muhammad (sav) doesn’t have / they can’t show any difference, what’s more He has more features; consequently, due to the reason why they believe their own prophet and book, they have to believe Messenger Muhammad (sav) for the same reasons, in other words they cannot provide any proof or reason for their denials and they would also conflict with their own beliefs… Eventually, since they cannot say “Muhammad cannot be a Messenger because of that or he is less adequate as a Messenger than the others,”, admitting Him too would be the most intellectual and faithful approach.

Regarding the unbelievers, they cannot propose a realistic reason or evidence that Muhammad is not the Messenger or that He wasn’t sent any revelation by Allah, nor can they show any realistic reason why He (and the other messengers) should make it all up, consequently they are completely wrong in their denials and they are enemies of the truth… No one has ever enlightened humanity as much as Messenger Muhammad (sav) did, no one has ever reached His huge success…

What’s more, they attribute His success to various unheavenly and human reasons, they accept that those success mentioned could be achieved with these methods; although it has been tried by others, it has not been achieved, so the source must have been divine…

Their claim per se is enough to prove that Muhammad (sav) is the prophet of Allah… The question that would reveal the truth here is simple: If Messenger Muhammad (sav) was able to display the Qur’an on his own due to this or that reason, why couldn’t others, even when they were much more equipped, bring up something similar (and still can’t)?..

If Messenger Muhammad (sav) wrote the Qur’an on his own, then he is the greatest scientist, thinker, historian, man of letters, sociologist, submarine explorer, traveler, judge, teacher, soldier, writer.. and astronomer of all times on Earth… It is unthinkable that all these features are gathered in one man (who lived in a community remote from knowledge, who was uneducated and illiterate), such a condition is impossible…

Thus, the writer of the Qur’an was not Muhammad’ul Ameen, the writer was, as he clearly stated, the almighty of all almighty Allah; the ones who object this obvious reality have no realistic reasons and will never have… These words “The decency of the orphans and the wisdom of the ummah in the times of ignorance is enough a miracle for you.” is a beautiful scale for the ones who look for the truth…

Actually, to deny Messenger Muhammad (sav) means to confirm him. There are some who deny His prophethood with various pretense and try to explain the unique masterpiece and success He displayed with various reasons; this fallacious struggle contradicts itself and to reveal it, it is enough to ask a simple question and answer it.

Yes, if Messenger Muhammad (sav) made it with this or that reason, why couldn’t anyone else do it? Besides, they were the majority, they were working on it, they had all possibility… (This question will always remain unanswered and no matter how much they deny it, even the profane will admit in their conscience that this is true.)

The obvious reality is that Messenger Muhammad (sav) wasn’t telling the verses / suras by practicing, thinking, planning, he was reflecting them (there were also some signs for that) after the revelation came, what’s more he could answer the opponents’ questions, claims and slanders and the Qur’an was showing a unity although it came down in different periods and in a 22-year-lasting process.

Nevertheless its words were not even the same as Messenger Muhammad’s (sav) own words… In other words its source could only be divine… Any claim opposing this can be nothing but just be doubt, suspicion, fallacy, slander, supposition, etc, these things have no value against the truth…

Some basic verses and hadiths on this matter are as follows:

« And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.

But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith. » (2/23-24)

« This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). » (3/44)

« Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude. » (3/144)

« Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy. » (4/82)

« Say: “What thing is most weighty in evidence?” Say: “Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?” Say: “Nay! I cannot bear witness!” Say: “But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him.” » (6/19)

« But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: “Bring us a reading other than this, or change this,” Say: “It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come).”

Say: “If Allah had so willed, I should not have rehearsed it to you, nor would He have made it known to you. A whole life-time before this have I tarried amongst you: will ye not then understand?”

Who doth more wrong than such as forge a lie against Allah, or deny His Signs? But never will prosper those who sin. » (10/15-17)

« This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds.

Or do they say, “He forged it”? say: “Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!”

Nay, they charge with falsehood that whose knowledge they cannot compass, even before the elucidation thereof hath reached them: thus did those before them make charges of falsehood: but see what was the end of those who did wrong! » (10/37-39)

« Or they may say, “He forged it,” Say, “Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth!”

If then they (your false gods) answer not your (call), know ye that this revelation is sent down (replete) with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no god but He! will ye even then submit (to Islam)? » (11/13-14)

« Such is one of the stories of what happened unseen, which We reveal by inspiration unto thee; nor wast thou (present) with them then when they concerted their plans together in the process of weaving their plots. » (12/102)

« There is, in their stories, instruction for men endued with understanding. It is not a tale invented, but a confirmation of what went before it,- a detailed exposition of all things, and a guide and a mercy to any such as believe. » (12/111)

« Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward. » (17/9)

« Say: “If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.” » (17/88)

« We sent down the (Qur'an) in Truth, and in Truth has it descended: and We sent thee but to give Glad Tidings and to warn (sinners).

(It is) a Qur'an which We have divided (into parts from time to time), in order that thou mightest recite it to men at intervals: We have revealed it by stages. » (17/105-106)

« High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, “O my Lord! advance me in knowledge.” » (20/115)

« But the misbelievers say: “Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it.” In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.

And they say: “Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening.”

Say: “The (Qur'an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” » (25/4-6)

« Those who reject Faith say: “Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?” Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually.

And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). » (25/32-33)

« No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. » (26/210-212)

« Thou wast not on the Western side when We decreed the Commission to Moses, nor wast thou a witness (of those events).

But We raised up (new) generations, and long were the ages that passed over them; but thou wast not a dweller among the people of Madyan, rehearsing Our Signs to them; but it is We Who send messengers (with inspiration).

Nor wast thou at the side of (the Mountain of) Tur when we called (to Moses). Yet (art thou sent) as Mercy from thy Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before thee: in order that they may receive admonition. » (28/44-46)

« And thou wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted.

Nay, here are Signs self-evident in the hearts of those endowed with knowledge and none but the unjust reject Our Signs. » (29/48-49)

« (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

Or do they say, “He has forged it”? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may receive guidance. » (32/2-3)

« Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah. » (33/21)

« Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. » (33/40)

« By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,-

Thou art indeed one of the messengers,

On a Straight Way.

It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. » (36/2-5)

« We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear. » (36/69)

“This (Qur’an) is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds.”

“And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while.” (38/87-88)

« Say: “See ye if the (Revelation) is (really) from Allah, and yet do ye reject it? Who is more astray than one who is in a schism far (from any purpose)?”

Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things? » (41/52-53)

« What! Do they say, “He has forged a falsehood against Allah”? But if Allah willed, He could seal up thy heart. And Allah blots out Vanity, and proves the Truth by His Words. For He knows well the secrets of all hearts. » (42/24)

« When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say, of the Truth when it comes to them: “This is evident sorcery!”

Or do they say, “He has forged it”? Say: “Had I forged it, then can ye obtain no single (blessing) for me from Allah. He knows best of that whereof ye talk (so glibly)! Enough is He for a witness between me and you! And he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Say: “I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear.” » (46/7-9)

« Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).

But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.

This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitude. » (47/1-3)

« Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. » (48/29)

« Or do they say, “He fabricated the (Message)”? Nay, they have no faith!

Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! » (52/33-34)

« And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? » (54/17)

« And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: “Surely he is possessed!”

But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. » (68/51-52)

« Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith.

It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it:

But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated):

Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear). » (75/16-19)

***

“There has never been a Prophet amongst the prophets who was not bestowed with a sign amongst the signs which were bestowed (on the earlier prophets). Human beings believed in it and verily I have been conferred upon revelation (the Holy Qur'an) which Allah revealed to me. I hope that I will have the greatest following on the Day of Resurrection.”

(Bukhari, Virtues of The Qur’an 1, Al-I’tisam 1; Muslim, Faith 239)

“I am leaving you two things for you. You will never deviate as long as you obey these two: the Book of Allah and the sunnah of the Messenger.”

(Muwatta, Destiny 3)

“A believer who recites the Qur'an is like an orange whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is sweet; a believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date which has no fragrance but has a sweet taste; and the hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is like a basil whose fragrance is sweet, but whose taste is bitter; and a hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is like the colocynth which has no fragrance and has a bitter taste.”

(Bukhari, Instruction in Cookery 30, Victim of The Qur'an 17, 36, Unity 57; Muslim, Al-Musafirin 243; Abu Dawoud, General Behavior 19; Tirmizhi, General Behavior 79; Nasai, Faith 32; Ibn Maajah, Beginning 16)

“The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it.”

(Bukhari, Victim of The Qur'an 21; Tirmizhi, Victim of The Qur'an 15; Abu Dawoud, Prayers 349; Ibn Maajah, Beginning 16)

He who regards the forbidden things in Qur’an as permissible does not believe in the Qur’an.

(Tirmizhi, Merits of The Qur’an 20)

“I neither give you anything (by myself), nor do I prohibit you from anything: I am a servant (I give according to the commands of Allah.)”;

“I am a distributor (just in accordance with the command), I put where I am to.”

(Bukhari, Humus 7; Abu Dawoud, Protection 13)

Ali (ra) told: I heard the Messenger (sav) say: “Be aware, a sedition is going to occur!”

I asked him immediately: “What is the way to salvation, O prophet of Allah?”

He commanded:

“(Following) the book of Allah. It has news about the circumstances of previous nations, news about dissensions starting from your time to the judgment day and about the circumstances of the doomsday. It has the judgment about the conflict which will occur between (faith-blasphemy, obedience-rebellion, haram-halal, etc). It is the measure for right and wrong. Everything inside of It is significant, there is no remark without a purpose. Whoever does something stupid and doesn’t believe or act with It, Allah will destroy them. Whoever looks for guidance outside of It, Allah will make them go astray. It is the safe rope of Allah. It is the blessed reminder with full of wisdom, It is the right way. It saves souls from sliding, tongues (that read) from ambiguity. The wise are never full with it. Repeating It many times never bores you, never lessens the delight. The pre-eminent sides never ends, never runs out. It is such a book that demons, hearing It, couldn’t stop themselves from saying: “It has been inspired to me that a group of Jinn were listening.” They said: “We have heard a magnificent Qur’an!” (Jinns 1) Whoever brings news from It tells the truth. Whoever acts with It becomes the recipient of a salary. Whoever judges with It, judges justly. Whoever is called to It, is called to the right way.”

The Good News about Messenger Muhammad (sav) in the Bible

« The people of the Book know Him as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know. » (Qur’an, al-Baqara, 2/146)

« Those to whom We have given the Book know him as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe. » (Qur’an, al-Anaam, 6/20)

« “Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper.” » (Qur’an, al-Araf, 7/157)

« And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.” But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, “this is evident sorcery!” » (Qur’an, as-Saff, 61/6)

Although it has been altered so many times, there is still data about Messenger Muhammad (sav) in the Bible… I will dwell on some of them below and if the people of the Book are sincere about their beliefs, they will believe in Messenger Muhammad’s (sav) prophethood… But if they are not sincere, then that is their own problem; It may be difficult for people to part with the belief they absorbed although it is wrong, therefore I hope they turn towards truth by reading thoroughly…

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” (Torah (Old Testament, The Pentateuch), Deuteronomy, 18:18)

* The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (sav) came with a different religion and law like Moses…

* Messenger Muhammad (sav) conveyed the divine revelation, that is the Qur’an, which is the “Words of Allah”, without using his own words…

* Messenger Muhammad (sav) was from the children of Ishmael who were brothers to children of Israel and He was the only one of the children of Ishmael (Arabians) to say and prove to be a Messenger and succeeded in His message…

* The one mentioned above couldn’t have been Jesus, because Messenger Muhammad (sav) was more similar to Moses in respect to both prophetical features and life stories than Jesus, He was more suitable for the definition “A prophet like Moses.”

The only point than can be objected here is the claim that with the word “brethren” the children of Ishmael are mentioned … let’s see if that is true. The children of Abraham’s first son Ishmael and his second son Isaac (and his other sons, if there were any) were referred (naturally) as brothers; as an obvious evidence the children of Ishmael are mentioned in the Old Testament, Genesis, Chapter 25 as follows:

“..and he shall settle down in the presence of all his brethren.” (Old Testament, Genesis, 25:18; 16:12)

Again: “your brethren, the children of Esau” Deuteronomy 2:4, 8 (besides: Genesis, 27:29, 37; Deuteronomy, 23:7; 24:14) Here the children of Jacob (Israel) and of (his brother) Esau are referred as brothers.

On the other hand Hebrews and the children of Israel are also brothers: “And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman...” Deuteronomy, 15:12

Abraham is Lot’s uncle, but in the Old Testament they are referred as ‘brothers’ (Genesis, 11:27, 31; 12:5):

“And Abram said unto Lot: ..for we be brethren.” (Genesis, 13:8) “And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son.. And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive.. and also brought again his brother Lot..” (Genesis, 14:12, 14, 16) (likewise Jacob and his uncle Laban are also referred as brothers: Genesis, 29:15)

Ishmael is Jacob’s (Israel’s) uncle and thus they are referred to as brothers; then, Moses, who is a descendant of Jacob and Messenger Muhammad (sav), who is a descendant of (his uncle) Ishmael are individuals of fellow communities and Moses had declared to his own community that Messenger Muhammad (sav) was going to arrive…

Besides there hasn’t been any other Messenger like Moses from the children of Israel and they lost their last chance by denying Jesus, who is one of the great Messengers although He had different peculiarities from Him; while they had been sent many Messengers among them, they have been waiting for a Messenger for 2000 years in vain.

It is a known fact that Messenger Muhammad (sav) refers to the other Messengers as his “brothers”… and the Qur’an introduces all of the Messengers as people coming from the same ancestors and proclaiming the same belief…

According to the New Testament in Acts, the ones mentioned in the Old Testament are brothers of the children of Israel: “This is that Moses, who said (Torah-Deuteronomy, 18:15) unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.” (Acts, 7:37; 3:22)

If paid attention, here Moses declares to the children of Israel that Allah was going to send a Messenger like Him from their brothers (some of the revelations of Qur’an are addressed directly to the children of Israel); as explained above this person can only be Messenger Muhammad (sav), thus it appears that there is an obvious sign about Him in the Old Testament…

* * *

On the other hand, the person whose name is referred to as ‘the Prophet’ in the Gospel of John, 1. chapter, 21. and 24. verses can only be Messenger Muhammad (sav)Because here ‘Christ’ and ‘the Prophet’ are obviously separated; If Jesus is Christ (which he certainly is), ‘the Prophet’ is someone else, in other words Messenger Muhammad (sav)

Another evidence occurs in the chapter 14, verse 30 of the Gospel of John; Here, Jesus clearly declares that he will no longer talk much with them and that the ruler of this world is coming, furthermore he says that He has no power over Him; consequently it can never be the Holy Spirit or Jesus himself… The most important thing of all, the definition (attribute) “ruler of the World” resembles exactly to Muhammad’s (sav) definition as “Fahr-i Alem” (the Master of the World)…

Besides in the Gospel of John (14:16; 15:26; 16:7, 13) Jesus refers to a person coming after him as (according to hearsay ‘Parakletos’, Comforter, the Spirit of Truth)… whether it is realistic or logical to interpret this as the Holy Spirit, whether the words of Jesus (which were intentionally compiled and duplicated), who speaks Hebrew / Aramaic, were protected (whether the words were translated correctly) while being translated into Greek Bibles, the fact that “Ahmad”, another name of Muhammad (sav), and ‘Periklutos’ (praised, extolled) are the same in meaning are subjects to be dwelled upon…

Many evidences can be introduced apart from the evidences above, like the obvious fact that Ishmael’s father Abraham and his mother Hagar are heralded several times in the Old Testament (Genesis, 16:10; 17:20; 21:13, 18) and that this good news came true through Muhammad (sav), like the exact resemblance of the peculiarities of Muhammad (sav) and of the One mentioned in the first verses of Isaiah chapter 42, like all the dimensions, mentioned both in the New and Old Testament of the Bible (in the words of both Moses and Jesus) used to understand if a Messenger is fake or real, proves the prophethood of Muhammad (sav)

The way Christians, who associate everything mentioned in the Old Testament with Jesus according to themselves, deny the information and explication about Muhammad (sav) cannot be something more than inconsistency and oversight… Even if Christians associate some of these verses with Jesus, it is not possible for them to cut the connection between Muhammad (sav) and the other verses, as you can see…

Moreover, let’s put aside these obvious evidences for a moment, Muslims can also make comments in a broad sense like in the Gospel of Matthew and present other associations; the writer of the Gospel of Matthew really associated, almost all of the verses in the Old Testament about the future and pieces of texts resembling the life story of Jesus, with Jesus or with one of the hearsays about the life story of His; Under these circumstances, how can the comments of Muslims be found exaggerated or wrong?..

The Muslim commentators associated many verses in the Bible with Muhammad (sav), whereas Christian commentators deny this associations; and this is a disadvantageous attitude for them, because with the same logic it can be said that their association between the Old Testament and Jesus would have no value at all… To associate these verses with Muhammad (sav) is as realistic a comment as the association between Jesus and the interpretation of the texts of the Old Testament in the New Testament…

Christians, who accept someone like Paul as a prophet by virtue of the cognizance he saw (?!) (which is told in a contradictory way in three different verses in the Acts of the Prophet written by Luke) and make his comments the principles of Christianity and even consider him to be above the apostles and God Himself, have no right or basis to deny Muhammad’s (sav) prophethood…

If Jesus had been the last Prophet as they assumed, they couldn’t have talked about the many other “Messengers and Prophets” as well as the Apostles, so according to Christianity (Holy Book) another “prophet (Messenger)” can come after Jesus… and so He did with both his predominant and exemplifying characteristics and His miracles, Muhammad (sav); what a bliss for those who worship Him and the Qur’an He brought and attain the real message of Jesus!.. (and by God, Muhammad (sav) is no less worthy than Paul to be a Messenger and God is my witness that Muhammad’s (sav) sayings about Jesus is not more inconsistent than Paul’s comments)

In the Qur’an it is written “we did not send any messenger except (to preach) in the tongue of his people, in order to clarify things for them”; Jesus was speaking Hebrew / Aramaic, however the Bibles (the New Testament) at hand are Greek, so it is not entirely possible to understand It correctly, misinterpretation is a possibility…

Again all the Bibles at hand are not an authoritatively written quotation but a compilation of narratives, and it is doubtful how correctly the words and events are translated, moreover the translations are full with “suspicion” and “fiction”, on top of it, Jesus didn’t speak or declare things in Greek but Hebrew / Aramaic…

If we turn back to the verses of the Holy Book including good news, here are some other examples that give good news about Muhammad (sav) in the Old Testament and the New Testament:

“(Abram,) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Torah/The Pentateuch, Genesis, 12:2-3)

The ones who commemorate and glorify Abraham with all its nations are only the Ummahs of Islam; Muslims always mention Abraham and his family both while praying, reading the Qur’an and during the pilgrimage, moreover many Muslims name their sons after “Ibrahim” (Abraham)…

“...I will make him (Ishmael) a great nation.” (Torah/The Pentateuch, Genesis, 17:20; 21:13, 18)

Muhammad (sav) is the only one who turned the children of Ishmael into a great nation, how can this truth be denied?.. And with whom else can the verses or good news in the Torah be interpreted, but Muhammad (sav)? Surely with no one else…

Jesus said, according to the hearsay “no prophet is accepted in his own country / a prophet hath no honour in his own country” (Gospel of Luke, 4:24; Gospel of John, 4:44); It is a historical truth that Muhammad (sav) was rejected by his country (by the people of Mecca and Medina in that period) and was exposed to cruelty and migration (the Hegira)...

Another example is that the definition of a prophet and a revelation in the verse of the New Testament exactly matches with Muhammad (sav) and the Qur’an; the Qur’an is a book full with profundity and Muhammad (sav) is a person full with wisdom, because the Qur’an is the book of Allah and Muhammad (sav) is the Messenger of Allah and He conveyed the Qur’an, which is the words (revelations, remarks) of Allah:

“For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. (Gospel of John, 3:34)

In the following verses there are other strong evidences about the prophethood of Muhammad (sav), because He conveyed the Qur’an, although He was an illiterate and uneducated person, He established Islam, that is the religion of Allah, He looked for the approval of Allah and not his own dignity, He gave information about secrets (about the unseen) and the lives of other Prophets with the consent of Allah:

“And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.” (Gospel of John, 7:15-18)

As indicated above, the Qur’an is a divine revelation the equal of which couldn’t have been produced despite the challenge in It and if It was invented, others should have done the same all right… Besides, at that time there were no Arabic translations of the Torah and the Bible nor was there a bit of scientific truth which was only just discovered… While the Qur’an is Itself a miracle, having been conveyed by someone illiterate like Muhammad (sav) is another miracle and this is only possible with the doctrine of Allah the almighty…

On the other hand, in the bibles at hand and on behalf of the Jewish people (or their beliefs and acknowledgement) “Christ” and “that prophet” is properly separated; Since it is proven that Jesus is the Christ in both the Qur’an and the New Testament (according to the general belief of Christians and the New Testament, Jesus is not just a prophet but the God Himself), who is “that prophet” declared by the Torah, Moses and the Bible?.. Needless to say that, Muhammad (sav) and no one else…

“And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No... And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?” (John, 1:19-25)

“Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.” (John, 6:14)

“Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. Others said, This is the Christ..” (John, 7:40-41)

Eventually, if the verses in the Holy Books (Torah and Bible) are examined thoroughly, one can clearly see that both Moses and Jesus gave good news about someone to come after them… While John gave good news about Jesus, Jesus gave good news about Muhammad (sav) (by describing many of His peculiarities) and this good news was either not transmitted correctly or was altered as much as possible… the differences among the narratives of Bibles show that they were not written with accurate knowledge and that they don’t reflect the realities as they are; the words told, the events occurred, the messages made are not transmitted to us authoritatively, but were compiled from hearsays which were favorable for them or were invented by them…

* * *

Similar texts including good news can be found in religious books of old Iran and India: In the holy texts of Zoroaster (Zend-Avesta, the Yasht, 13, 28, 129), an idol breaker is mentioned “Who Will Stand Against Worshipping Idols” and has the names “The Praised One” and “Grace For Everybody”, which are all names and attributes of Muhammad (sav)

In holy books of Budism, Buddha tells about a person named as Mettaya (Maitreya) who would come and complete what he couldn’t complete and this name also means “Grace For Everybody” and in the Qur’an one of the names for Muhammad (sav) is “rahmatanlil Aalameena = Mercy To The Worlds, Mercy For the World”…

In Brahmanism, Hindus have a Corpus of Holy Books sent by Allah and they are called Puranas the meaning of which is mentioned in the Qur’an as “Old Writings” (Al-Shoora, 26/196)… According to Puranas Allah will incarnate ten times at different times and the tenth will be as a Muharib and his father will be a man named “the Servant of Allah” (Abd-Allah=Abdullah) and his mother will be a woman named “Worthy of Trust” (Amine) (They are the names of Muhammad’s (sav) parents)…

According to Puranas and Veda, which are accepted as holy books by the Brahmans, a man coming from the desert and having the name “Worthy of Praise” (=Muhammad) will be born in the “desert lands” (=Mecca), will take refuge in somewhere to the North of his homeland (=Medina-Hegira), will have a car touching the sky, will be a man of wisdom / a wise man with camels, will have 300 soldiers at the first and 10000 soldiers at the second of his two victories (=Battle of Badir and The Conquest of Mecca)… Christians won’t possibly say “The one mentioned in all these books with obvious characteristics is Jesus!”

* * *

On the other hand, many of the basic belief and claims of Christians contradict with both the verses in the Bible and the Holy Books of the Jews; unfortunately this religion has been subject to great degeneration due to the deliberate attempt of idolaters and ecclesiastics… To learn about the real Jesus and his message is only possible with the Qur’an which is the last revelation…

There are a lot of studies in this field and the representatives of the Christian World cannot answer them though they distort realities; It is unacceptable that they still continue their missionary work, especially amongst Muslims… Muslims must be awake; To head for other religions while there is a religion extremely rational and divine like Islam would not happen due to another reason but ignorance or obstinacy…

Muslims’ main claim is that the one and only Bible revealed to Jesus and His message is distorted, actually there is no source that transmits the Bible and the revelations Jesus conveys correctly…

Moreover, the important thing of the four Gospels (which are accepted aside from the many other Bibles) is their content rather than if they were distorted or not (which is full of doubt, is deficient and has different verses), the content of the Bibles is both different from each other, contradictory and unreal in many aspects…

My call to all the people of the scripture is this; read and believe in the Qur’an, the last divine revelation, to learn about the real faith in Allah and the real messages of Moses and Jesus… Besides, the superiority of both the style and content of the Qur’an over the others proves that clearly; It is not the words of a human but the words of Allah…

On the other hand, since the Bibles at hand are not original / real Bibles, it doesn’t mean that just because there aren’t clearer messages about Muhammad (sav) in these Books, they weren’t in the real Bible and in the messages of Jesus (Jesus didn’t say anything like “I am the God, worship me” in the Bibles, but many of the Christians consider Him to be a God!)…

For instance, in the Gospel of Barnabas this good news occurs clearly and the (same) criticism directed against the Gospel of Barnabas is also acceptable for the Bibles and all Holy Books accepted as real (reliable); But do the Church and Christians regard them as fake considering these?..

Even if the Gospel of Barnabas was distorted, it should have had a factual foundation (it was already in the list of forbidden books in the 3rd and 4th century published by the Church); It’s unacceptable that a Muslim would slander Allah, Jesus and His disciples by writing a Bible…

For example in the Gospel of Matthew, it is stated that the prophets said “He shall be called a Nazarene” (2:23), but these words are not in the other Holy Books, however none of the Christians say “There is no such thing in the Holy book, so prophets couldn’t have said something like that, in other words they couldn’t have had good news about Jesus”… But when considering Ahmad they make just the opposite comments and try to deny Risalet of Muhammad (sav) and the verses of the Qur’an which is nothing more but inconsistency!..

If it is not written “Ahmad” in the Bibles, is there anything about “Jesus or Jesus Christ” in the Old Testament?!.. the Qur’an doesn’t actually say “in the Bible it is written Ahmad,” but says “Jesus had good news about Muhammad (sav), giving His name as well”…

“And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.” Matthew, 2:23

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” Luke, 24:44-47

“..of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” John, 1:45

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John, 5:39

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.” John, 5:46

This verse from the Holy Book has a feature to prove the prophethood of Muhammad (sav); because all the things He achieved are witnesses to His actions, both his messages, His life and the Qur’an proves that He is a prophet, that he is the Messenger of Allah… Actually, the scholars among the people of the Book who read these verses in the Holy Book should know Him as they know their own son (and should believe Him):

“But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.John, 5:36

According to general belief in Christianity Jesus is a God, thus it cannot be claimed that no prophet would come after Him. If that would be the matter, the apostles and Paul and others couldn’t have been “Messengers”, in other words it is possible that another prophet would come after Him, at least it is not something impossible… So, Muhammad (sav) also came and corrected the false belief and practices of both Jewish people and Christians as well as Jesus corrected the false belief and practices of Jewish people…

With a comment in the Gospel of Matthew 12:15-21, Jesus is associated with the 42nd chapter of Isaiah, which also gives good news about Muhammad (sav), because the features of the one mentioned match with Muhammad’s (sav) not Jesus’… All the names-attributes match clearly with Muhammad (sav), but not with the interpretation of Christians upon Jesus (accepting Him as the God (which is also an inner and outer contradiction of the New Testament)); for instance, Jesus, according to them, is not a servant but (God forbid) the God and was sent only to the house of Israel, not to all the nations (Matthew 15:24)… Yes, the names-attributes, mentioned about the one who was to come in the Book of Isaiah, indicate doubtlessly Muhammad (sav), those are all His attributes: Servant (Abd), the Chosen one (Mustafa), Messenger, Arabian, against Paganism, Prophet of all the People, Triumphant…

Besides, according to hearsay in the Bibles, Jesus warned people against fake prophets and gave the measures to distinguish real prophets from fake ones, if no other prophet would come after Him, he would just have said “the ones who claim to prophethood after Me are all liars”…

And the measure given by Him indicates obviously Muhammad (sav); we can see a similar measure in the Torah:

(Christ:) “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Gospel of Matthew, 7:15-23; Matthew, 12:33-35; Gospel of Luke, 6:43-44)

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.” (Torah, Deuteronomy, 18:18-22)

While Muhammad (sav) was conveying the religion of Allah and making it successful, all the fake ones who claimed prophethood during His era disappeared altogether… The Qur’an, as an endless miracle, is still challenging Its contraries and proves that It is the words of Allah… In this context, “Miracles of the Qur’an” is on its own a subject to be considered; Qur’an, with all Its features, documents that It is not the words of a human, that It is a book which cannot be invented and which is sent by Allah…

« So I do call to witness what ye see,

And what ye see not,

That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger;

It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe!

Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive.

(This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds.

And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,

We should certainly seize him by his right hand,

And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:

Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).

But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing.

And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it).

But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers.

But verily it is Truth of assured certainty.

So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. »

(Qur’an, al-Haaqqa, 69/38-52)

Another document is: the characteristics of the one who was given good news about in the Holy Book, the Old Testament, the book of Isaiah match exactly with Muhammad (sav) and beware that here Kedar (Isaiah, 20:13-17), in other words the Arabian country, is emphasized:

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them... Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit... They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.” (Isaiah, 42:1-17)

In the verses of the Holy Book it is mentioned that the commands, Jesus explained as the measures to determine the real religion and prophet, are present in both the Qur’an and Sunnah (Hadeeth), just like the same as shown below:

Gospel of Matthew, 7/12: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Gospel of Matthew, 22/35-40: “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Gospel of Mark, 12/29-33: “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Gospel of Luke, 10/25-28: “And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.”

Qur’an, an-Nisa, 4/36: « Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious. »

al-Baqara, 2/165: « Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah): They love them as they should love Allah. But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah... »

al-Maeda, 5/54: « O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. »

al-Baqara, 2/177: « It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing. »

Aal-e-Imran, 3/31: « Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." »

at-Tawba, 9/24: « Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. »

Hud, 11/90: « “But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness.” »

al-Hajj, 22/37: « It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right. »

al-Hujraat, 49/7-8: « And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But Allah has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness;- A Grace and Favour from Allah; and Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. »

El-Burooj, 85/14: « And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness »

Again in the Qur’an there are many verses that say “Allah loves the ones who do good deeds / repent / cleanse / avoid bad / have good intentions / are patient / resign himself / are fair / want to purify / struggle for the sake of themselves / treat people fairly” to enjoin the believers to gain the love of Allah… some of Muhammad’s (sav) words about this matter are as follows:

“As long as you don’t ask the things for others you ask for yourself you won’t be a real believer.” (Tirmizhi, Piety 2; Ibn Maajah, Piety 24)

“He who goes to bed (sleeps) full while his neighbor is hungry is not one of us.” (Hakim, Mustadrak)

“Say I affirm my faith in Allah and then remain steadfast to it.” (Muslim, Faith 62)

“He who believes in Allah and the Last Day does not harm is neighbor. He will not be a believer whose neighbor is not secure from his wrongful conduct.” (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawoud)

“None of you is a believer till I am dearer to him than his child, his father and the whole of mankind.” (Bukhari, Faith 6; Muslim, Faith 71; Nasai, Faith 19; Tirmizhi, Characteristics of The Doomsday 60; Ibn Maajah, Beginning 9)

“Verily Allah does not look to your bodies nor to your faces but He looks to your hearts and to your deeds.” (Bukhari, General Behavior 57-58; Muslim, Righteousness 28-34; Abu Dawoud, General Behavior 40, 56; Tirmizhi, Righteousness 18)

“I swear on Allah, who has the might, that you will not go to heaven unless you believe. You will not believe unless you love each other. Shall I tell you one thing that would make you love each other? Spread salaam amongst you.” (Tirmizhi, Characteristics of The Doomsday 57)

“He whose blessings makes him happy and whose badness makes him sad is a true believer.” (Ibn Maajah, Judgments 27; Tirmizhi, Fiten 7)

* * *

One of the evidences that Muhammad (sav) was the expected prophet is that both Jews and Christians were expecting intensely a prophet to come at that time and Qur’an criticizes their deviation; thus this is one of the evidences for Muhammad’s (sav) prophethood, because he came especially at a time when he was expected to arrive…

« And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith. » (al-Baqara, 2/89)

The approval of some Jewish and Christian scholars as well as Abdullah Bin Selam and Selman-i Farisi (ra) that Muhammad (sav) was the expected prophet and the belief in Him is also another evidence of His prophethood… If the Christians ask “Why didn’t all of the Jewish and Christian scholars accept Him?”, I should remind them that many of the Jewish scholars didn’t accept Jesus as well, even though they were expecting the Christ!..

« The Unbelievers say: “No messenger art thou.” Say: “Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book.” » (ar-Rad, 13/43)

« Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples.

Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? » (ash-Shuara, 26/196-197)

According to many Muslim interpreters, one of the good news about Muhammad is in the 49:10 verse of the book of Genesis in the Torah: “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”

Even if Jews claim that Shiloh hasn’t come yet (will still come) and Christians claim that he is Jesus, the text is obvious; This man who possesses prophethood and power is not from Judah and people will obey him. If Judah is the ancestor of Jesus, as it is strongly emphasized in the New Testament, this person could never be Jesus. Muhammad (sav) is the only prophet who is known to be obeyed by people and who has power both materially and spiritually …

According to a hearsay in the Gospel of Matthew (21:43) Jesus condemns the transgressing Jews by giving an example and says that the Kingdom of God will be taken away from them and given to a nation that will produce its fruits. Actually the Jews registered their long-lasting negative attitude towards this matter by not following the last two Messengers John and Jesus who were one of them and this dominion was given to another nation to the Ummah of Islam. Here, this news/good news is both one of the miracles of Jesus and an evidence for Muhammad’s (sav) prophethood and for the uprightness of the Islamic message:

“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” Gospel of Matthew, 21:43

Yes, these words are obvious: the kingdom will be taken away from the Jews and given to another nation and that nation will claim this dominion, produce its fruits which is what the Arabians, who Muhammad (sav) is a part of, did (they believed in the religion of Allah and spread it) and they are both the children of Abraham and nephews of Jews…

It will be appropriate to touch on the three prophesies of Moses here, according to a hearsay in the current Torah; according to hearsay, Moses depicts the three regions where the revelation of Allah came and the first of which is Sinai, which is the message of Moses, the second, Seir, which is the message of Jesus and the third, Paran, which is the message of Muhammad (sav), because the name “Paran” is one of the names of the holy Mecca where Muhammad (sav) delivered the revelations.

..The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.” (Deuteronomy, 33:2)

About this last message, the way it mentions Him coming with tens of thousands of saints evokes clearly Muhammad’s (sav) Ashab. These “exemplifying servants and astral lives” most willingly believed in the messages of Muhammad (sav) and sacrificed everything for the sake of Islam. However -unfortunately- there wasn’t such a mass among the followers of Moses and Jesus; the number of people who stood behind Moses and Jesus was limited to a few people… (look: Habakkuk, 3:3)

On the other hand, one of the miracles of the Qur’an and our Prophet is that it is declared that He was the last Messenger (unquestionably, certainly); no other prophet (anyone who claimed and proved to be the Messenger of Allah or anyone who was of Muhammad (sav), Jesus, Moses, Abraham’s caliber) came after Muhammad (sav).

« Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal (last) of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. » (33/40)

“I am the seal (last) of the prophets and there is no other prophet after me.”

(Muslim, Alm House 170; Abu Dawoud, Fiten 1; Tirmizhi, Fiten 32)

When Ali mentioned the Messenger of Allah, he used to say: “..He was the seal (last) of the prophets.”

(Tirmizhi, Menakib 19)

Another connection about this subject is that (According to hearsay) Muhammad (sav) also informed that the quality, the good news of which was given by Jesus when He said “the last shall be first”, was possessed by the Ummah of Islam:

“(Jesus said:) But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” Gospel of Matthew, 19:30

“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” Matthew, 20:16

“But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.” Gospel of Mark, 10:31

* * *

Abu Huraira (ra) narrates: Allah's Messenger (sav) said, “We are the last but will be the foremost. While sleeping, I was given the treasures of the world and two golden bangles were put in my hands, but I felt much annoyed, and those two bangles distressed me very much.

But I was inspired that I should blow them off, so I blew them and they flew away. Then I interpreted that those two bangles were the liars between whom I was: the one, the leader of San'a' and the one, the leader of Yamama.”

(Bukhari, Tabir 40, 70; Muslim, Dream 22; Tirmizhi, Dream 10)

(Actually these two fake prophets disappeared completely, besides the existence of fake prophets is a way that proves the righteousness and superior ethics of real prophets.)

Abu Huraira (ra) narrates: The Prophet said (sav), “We are the last in the world, but will be foremost.

By Allah, if anyone of you insists on fulfilling an oath by which he may harm his family, he commits a greater sin in Allah's sight than that of dissolving his oath and making expiation for it.”

(Bukhari, Oaths 1; Muslim, Oaths 26)

Again in this context, the only prophet known to deliver universal messages is also Muhammad (sav) and this feature of His is enough an evidence that He is the one mentioned in the book of Isaiah. Actually none of the prophets known, including Jesus, delivered universal messages and to claim the opposite would mean to deny many verses of the Holy Book. In the New Testament it is strongly emphasized that Jesus was only sent to the children of Israel (Matthew 1:21; 2:1-6; 10:5, 23; 15:24; Luke 4:43-44) and this emphasis contradicts with Matthew 12:15-21 and proves that the this person wasn’t Jesus. Even Paul’s fake interpretation, “the son of God who sacrificed himself to redeem the sins of all people”, won’t change this reality.

Yes, the only prophet who invited, not just his own people but all the people and even the Jinns to the way of Allah is Muhammad (sav). This universal call (which cannot be denied) of Muhammad (sav), who was the last Messenger of Islam, is an evidence, as well as many others, that He is the prophet who was given good news about, who was expected to come and who was explicitly indicated to be successful. The mission of everybody who believes in Allah is to follow this blessed call; to follow the way of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally Muhammad (sav), because it is the right way of Allah…

Yes, this is the reality, but many still come up with a lot of claims, accusations and slander against Muhammad (sav), the messages of Islam, the Qur’an and Muslims; Doesn’t it mean that they accuse Him of telling lies by not believing Him? Allah the almighty will surely bring them to book for the slander, unless they repent and turn to realities… (the ones who have some doubts should, please, read the verses of Qur’an in the section “Who is Muhammad (sav)?” once again and see the many evidences of this undeniable reality and if they still don’t believe, they should try to invent themselves some verses to see if they can, if it is that simple?!)

Unfortunately, the way the ones, who supposedly respond even to undeniable claims of their own belief, accuse Islam and Muhammad (sav) in many ways, represent every claim, doubt and everything that occur in their mind as if they are realities, is not just only a hideous approach (they cannot put out the light of Allah just like the way they couldn’t extinguish their light when the Pharaoh slandered Moses and Pharisees slandered Jesus, just like the way the idol worshippers couldn’t extinguish the light of Islam when they slandered Muhammad (sav), Islam and Muslims) but also a contradictory attitude towards the messages of Moses and Jesus…

Even though, to accept something almost means to deny something else, especially, in the Christianity of the New Testament, even though they degenerated their religion, in other words the messages of Jesus about Islam, they turn away from the last call of Allah. The ones who do these things without hesitation should ask themselves; Would my God accept (be pleased with) the lies, the slander, the way I draw conclusions about matters (about which I am not sure and never will be) (the way I accuse others)? Especially when the religion, Messenger or Book I accuse are His?..

So why do you talk ignorantly about Islam, the religion of Allah, and the divinity of Islam?!.. Think about it just for once; What if you are wrong? What else would you be doing but booking a place from hell? Is it that simple to talk/write haphazardly about a personality who claimed and proved that he was the Messenger of Allah and who succeeded in His messages?..

Our brothers of the Holy Book should know this well; as there were people who slandered Allah the almighty and His prophets in the past, there are still followers of them and they deceive you and voluntarily become devil’s soldiers to lead you with them to frustration … Please, overcome your prejudices, if there are any, and turn to the last call of Allah and follow His invitation to heaven; join this blessed way the good news of which was given by the previous prophets, most of all Moses and Jesus…

Who is a Muslim?

A Muslim is someone who submits to Allah, in other words who embraces Islam. A Muslim is “the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands” according to Muhammad’s (sav) definition. A Muslim is a connoisseur of Islam who doesn’t believe the way he lives but lives the way he believes. Someone who is aware of the fact that Allahu Ekber (Allah is the almighty)…

Muslims believe in the one and only Allah; Muslims do not worship any human, Muslims do not worship any idols (any Picture, any statue), Muslims do not worship any being, Muslims do not worship any natural element, Muslims do not worship Ka’bah, Muslims do not worship Muhammad (sav)

A Muslim behaves in a manner of right faith, good deeds, a Muslim tries to enjoin goodness and prohibit evil, a Muslim cannot harm anyone (who doesn’t deserve it) with his tongue or hands, a Muslim is compassionate, not cruel, a Muslim makes things easier, not more difficult, a Muslim endears himself but doesn’t incite hatred, a Muslim competes on beneficence, but turns his back to iniquity, a Muslim follows the blessed Messengers of Allah, not the devil or his servants…

Then, take a look at those who say “I am a Muslim” or those who are described as “Muslim(s)”; Where is Islam in them?.. So, the claims are unlike the realities, the prejudices are unlike the truth…

Here, I have to state that according to Islam the revelation of Allah contains equal values and this light which enlightened humanity via Messengers through the ages came from the same source, in other words, since Islam is the religion of Allah, the previous Messengers were all Muslims as well… In this context, everyone who says that he believes in Allah and His Messengers should meet at the common denominator and shouldn’t run after disunity and feud following the steps of devil… Just like Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (sav) were not in dispute, their communities should imitate them and shouldn’t dispute with each other…

Some basic verses and hadiths about this matter are as follows:

« And who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous.

Behold! his Lord said to him: “Bow (thy will to Me):” He said: “I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe.”

And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; “Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam.”

Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: “What will ye worship after me?” They said: “We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah: To Him we bow (in Islam).”

That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case!

They say: “Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation).” Say thou: “Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah.”

Say ye: “We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam).”

So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. » (2/130-137)

« When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: “Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?” Said the disciples: “We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.” » (3/52)

« Say: “O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.” If then they turn back, say ye: “Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).”

Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding?

Ah! Ye are those who fell to disputing (Even) in matters of which ye had some knowledge! but why dispute ye in matters of which ye have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and ye who know not!

Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah.

Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith. » (3/64-68)

« Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)? » (3/80)

« O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. » (3/102)

“And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger: they said, 'We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims'”. (5/111)

« Say: “Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed.” Say: “Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah.” » (6/14)

« Moses said: “O my people! If ye do (really) believe in Allah, then in Him put your trust if ye submit (your will to His).” » (10/84)

« (Joseph said:) “O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous.” » (12/101)

« Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam. » (15/2)

« One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition. » (16/89-90)

« And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! » (22/78)

« Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. » (27/81)

« Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam). » (30/53)

« For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward. » (33/35)

« Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, “I am of those who bow in Islam”? » (41/33)

« The desert Arabs say, “We believe.” Say, “Ye have no faith; but ye (only)say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones.

Say: What! Will ye instruct Allah about your religion? But Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: He has full knowledge of all things.

They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.

“Verily Allah knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth: and Allah Sees well all that ye do.” » (49/14-18)

« Verily, for the Righteous, are Gardens of Delight, in the Presence of their Lord.

Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin?

What is the matter with you? How judge ye?

Or have ye a book through which ye learn-

That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose?

Or have ye Covenants with Us to oath, reaching to the Day of Judgment, (providing) that ye shall have whatever ye shall demand? » (68/34-39)

Don’t Bridle At The Tree Just Because Its Fruits Fell In The Mire!

A ridiculous slander (for Islam) is often presented by people just by looking at the errors and the evil some of the believers (or the so-called Islamic countries) do, but what is wrong is not their belief but the behavior against their belief; so the religion of Islam cannot be blamed because of these… A country where Islam does not exist, where all codes are not followed with full attention cannot be called an “Islamic Country”; all of them should be followed as much as possible and they shouldn’t be like “the ones who believe in part of the scripture and disbelieve in part”…

Is there anyone who blames the traffic or traffic rules because of the many traffic accidents? Does it mean just because a Muslim drinks alcohol, gambles, receives interest, etc., they are all a part of Islam? On the contrary, they are all sins; how can someone’s sins be associated with his religion? If a child pulls flowers when his father told him to water them, is it his father’s fault? Can someone really be so brainless?..

For instance, the “so-called Muslims” kill people which they shouldn’t, behave cruelly which they shouldn’t, lie which they shouldn’t, commit a fraud which they shouldn’t; the list is endless… People should put an end to the nonsense attaching sinners’ sins to their religion by fully comprehending this difference; we have nothing to do with the ones who are undiscerning or who do not want to understand…

Does religion tell us to do or not to do wrong? Since they doubtlessly tell us not to do wrong, how can the religion itself be blamed? As long as a system does not advice wrong, the system is far away from the wrong of the its members; can there be any more obvious reality? So we shouldn’t be fooled by anyone’s tricks considering realistically…

While everything is clearly evident, some still try to accommodate distortions, make many accusations and calumnies against Islam, Muhammad (sav) and Muslims using the media, present the latest examples of impudence, but we have to be watchful about them for they are such ignorant and careless characters that they would consider white as black…(we should think why in the Qur'an (4/136, 57/28) Allah tells the ones who believe “to believe”? This means; do the necessities of your faith, believe by heart not just by words!..)

Consequently; even if the Muslims burn the whole world down, even if they do a lot of wrong, it has nothing to do with their religion… Read it well; has-no-thing-to-do!.. The crime belongs to the one who commits it… Just because someone does not obey the rules and harms himself and others, should we be angry with the rules?! The religious rules are there to prevent mistakes, not to lead to mistakes…

Surely, “all the Muslims” should become “real Muslims” (an exemplifying person with the right faith and good deeds) as Islam once indicated by taking care of themselves “in every field”… By the way, I would like to cite Mr. Yunus Vehbi Yavuz’s article “the Muslim of Qur’an”:

“The person who has digested the culture of Qur’an becomes the owner of the most realistic and the strongest faith… The person who has the Qur’anic way of thinking can both think freely and tolerate others to think freely…

He is far from any kind of bigotry. He is realistic in both earthly life and religious deeds… He mainly opposes superstitions, fallacious ideas, factional opinions, corrupt actions, disbelieving faith, evil thoughts. He is certainly far away from unreasonable belief…

He is never away from his own ego, never alienates from his own people, never copies others’ ideas or behavior… He thinks on his own and he acts on his own. He never becomes other’s minions…

He is never possessed by human or jinn devils, never makes mistakes easily and is never deceived… He does not just live for himself, he lives for his society… He thinks and does everything for the approval of Allah… He accepts the religion and the world as one and lives as one, tries to live as one, does not make a distinction between religion and world…

He is tolerant. He is tolerant towards other people’s thoughts and behavior… He never pressurizes faith. He just introduces Islam. He never forces people to believe his own ideas… He has confidence in himself. His moral strength is always high… He has a creative imagination…

He can easily distinguish between truth and false, right and wrong, good deed and sin. He is never stuck in the false. He is always on the right way… He always remembers Allah and reaches the reality of remembering…”

What Is Islamic Struggle (Jihad)?

Jihad is an Islamic way to fight cruelty and the cruel, it can be verbal or operational, but not a war (battle, combat) like some people think or are made to think, on the contrary war is the last choice, the last method of Jihad to be applied and this is allowable only under certain circumstances for fighting and battling with a method that is not Islamic is not Jihad (although the ones fighting claim the opposite; Because Muhammad (sav) clearly said “the work which is not in our way (which is wrong) will be denied”)

Nevertheless, to put millions of defenseless Muslims left behind in danger is not Jihad but sheer treachery of those who have a place to go, who have a place to hide!.. Causing trouble on Earth, etc is not a characteristic of Muslims but actions they should avoid… Some basic verses and hadiths about this subject are as follows:

« When it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “Why, we only Want to make peace!”

Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not. » (2/11-12)

« After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life? and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do. » (2/85)

« Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. » (2/190)

« Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! a section of them feared men as - or even more than - they should have feared Allah... » (4/77)

« Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them). » (4/90)

« Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom.

If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.

O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: “Thou art none of a believer!” Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do. » (4/92-94)

« And call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you, and His covenant, which He ratified with you, when ye said: “We hear and we obey”: And fear Allah, for Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. » (5/7-8)

« To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid;-

(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, “our Lord is Allah”. Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will).

(They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs. » (22/39-41)

« Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). » (25/52)

« They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment. » (48/25)

« Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. » (60/8)

***

Sulaiman b. Buraid reported: the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say:Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children (who cross yor path).”

(Muslim, Jihad 3; Tirmizhi, Siyar (Way of Life) 48; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 90)

Abu Musa (ra) reports: When the Messenger of Allah (sav) sent one of his people he used to give this adjuration: “Give good news, but don’t incite hatred; makes things easier, don’t make it more difficult.”

(Muslim, Jihad)

Ibn 'Umar (ra) narrates: a woman was found killed in one of these battles the Messenger of Allah took place; so the Messenger of Allah (sav) forbade the killing of women and children.

(Bukhari, Jihad 147-148; Muslim, Jihad 24; Muwatta, Jihad 3; Tirmizhi, Jihad 19; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 34; Ibn Maajah)

Isam al-Muzani (ra) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (sav) sent an army in a detachment and said to the soldiers: “If you see a mosque or hear a mu'adhdhin (calling to prayer), do not kill anyone.”

(Abu Dawoud, Jihad 100; Tirmizhi, Siyar (Way of Life) 2)

Ibn Abbas (ra) wrote a letter to answer some written questions:

“You have written asking me whether the Messenger of Allah (sav) took women with him to participate in Jihad. Yes, the Messenger of Allah (sav) did take them to the battle. They would treat the wounded and were given a reward from the booty, but he did not assign any regular share for them. And the Messenger of Allah (sav) did not kill the children during the battle, so thou shouldst not kill the children…

(Muslim, Jihad 137; Tirmizhi, Siyar (Way of Life) 8; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 152)

Al-Irbad ibn Sariyah as-Sulami narrates: We alighted with the Messenger of Allah (sav) at Khaybar, and he had his companions with him. The chief of Khaybar was a defiant and abominable man. He came to the Messenger of Allah (sav) and said:

“Is it proper for you, Muhammad, that you slaughter our donkeys, eat our fruit, and beat our women?”

The Messenger of Allah (sav) became angry and said:

“Ibn Awf, ride your horse, and call loudly: Beware, Paradise is lawful only for a believer, and that they (the people) should gather for prayer.”

They gathered and the Messenger of Allah (sav) led them in prayer, stood up and said:

“Does any of you, while reclining on his couch, imagine that Allah has prohibited only that which is to be found in this Qur'an? By Allah, I have preached, commanded and prohibited various matters as numerous as that which is found in the Qur'an, or more numerous. Allah has not permitted you to enter the houses of the people of the Book without permission, or beat their women, or eat their fruits when they give you that which is imposed on them.”

(Abu Dawoud, Protection 33)

Safvan Ibn Assal (ra) tells: The Messenger of Allah (sav) sent me to the war. He told me (before I set out): “Walk in the name of Allah, in the way of Allah. Fight against the ones who deny Allah. Never torture, do not break a promise (if a promise is made), do not kill children.

(Ibn Maajah, 2857)

Three things are the roots of faith: 1. to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action. 2. jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. 3. One must have faith in Divine decree.”

(Abu Dawoud, Jihad 35)

“He who professed that there is no god but Allah and made a denial of everything which the people worship beside Allah, his property and blood became inviolable (an their affairs rest with Allah).”

(Muslim, Faith 37)

“Whoever prays like us and faces our Quibla and eats our slaughtered animals is a Muslim.”

(Nasai, Faith 9; Bukhari, Prayers 28; Tirmizhi, Faith 2; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 104)

“If you see someone interested in the Masjid, testify that he is a believer for Allah says this: “The masjids of Allah are built by those who believe Allah and the judgment day.”

(Tirmizhi, Interpretation, Surah 2)

As one can see Jihad means to rise up against cruelty, to resist to any kind of injustice as much as possible and in legal ways; with body, goods or words… It is not a “war in the name of religion”; yes, it was said that “there is no compulsion in religion” (2/256), who can still say that “Jihad is a war to spread Islam”? War is the last choice and only then if it is to prevent injustice …

The real mujahid is to one who struggles with his own self.” Messenger Muhammad (sav)

(Tirmizhi, Victim of Jihad 2)

To resist the strong desires of your self is also a Jihad, and as it is stated in a hearsay of a hadith it is “the biggest Jihad” so that it is even bigger than a war… Thus, people like Osama should first struggle with their own self and then give up cruelty…

Even if the primary objective is to live in peace, when it comes to a war to stop cruelty, Muslims would display a behavior regarding human rights; they just fight against the ones who fight them, it is forbidden to ravage, to even touch women-children-old people (if they are not combatants), to attack temples and people who are worshipping, to kill animals and plants, to torture enemies; people begging for mercy should be spared, when asked for peace a positive answer should be given …

The difference between the horrific acts of the past and today and these incomparable rules is obvious… As one can easily see, the aim is not to spread Islam but to stop cruelty; in other words, it means to be forced to have a war so as to bring peace, one will see when he reads the verses (Hacc (Pilgrimage) 22:39-40) how ignorant and unreal all these critics about this subject are…

Fighting a war is not the only way to stop cruelty; Allah the almighty tells His Messenger in the Furqan surah (52. verse) to strive against them with Qur’an, so Jihad cannot be explained just as “war”, such an approach would be wrong, war is an option of Jihad and obviously the last option…

How can the ones, who still defend the opposite despite all these facts, explain the verse (Hujurat, 49/9) which tells to fight against the Muslims when they cause injustice?.. Yes, the meaning of Jihad is not just “war”, it means to adopt an attitude towards cruelty, injustice, exploitation, etc. without applying cruelty; how happy are those who are real Jihad soldiers, those beautiful Mujahids!..

Muhammad (sav) is the “exemplifying Messenger” as stated in Qur’an by Allah and the way He fought (made Jihad) actively against His cruel enemies sets many examples for Muslims; He never sacrificed Muslims blindly when they were weak, in other words He did not attack the enemy and endangered the lives of the defenseless ones, He chose to fight in self-defense or as the last solution and He advised the same to His Ummah, He also told and ensured not to be reckless and careless in a fight, not to be too extreme, not to touch people who are not active fighters (like old people, women, children, religious people (hermits)), not to harm holy buildings, plants or animals, to obey the deals made, to maintain peace and to spare the ones begging for mercy…

While the obvious examples are evident, how can someone who says “I am Muslim, I do Jihad in the name of Islam” ignore them? How can they choose the easy way out? How can they put Muslims from one cruelty to another cruelty and torture unbelievers? How can they attack enemies or people they think are connected to the enemies inconsiderately and carelessly?..

Consequently, there can be two reasons for the present situation (applying non-Islamic methods):

1. They are unaware about all these, they don’t know the rules of Islam about these matters or Muhammad’s (sav) words and actions; in other words they are ignorant.

2. Although they know everything, they do not care about them fort his or that reason; in other words they are wicked.

On both situations, they are not worth to be followed; because they are either ignorant or evil and such kind of people should not be leading Muslims and it is wrong for Muslims to follow them…

Why does Allah the almighty tell the believers “to restrain themselves from fighting” in the 77. verse of the surah Al-Nesa (4.)? Why does He say “We would allow you if the believers who were among them were not to be hurt” in the 25. verse of the surah Al-Fatt-h?

What is the norm a Muslim should understand and accept? How can a Muslim ignore all these obvious and evident verses? How can he fight without considering the innocent? How can he endanger the lives of the defenseless left behind?...

Sure enough, there are verdicts about Jihad in both Qur’an and the hadiths, but they are not just only decorated with basic dimensions needed for poetic justice but also the interlocutors are the ones who have the strength, because Allah the almighty “never burdens a soul beyond its means” (2/286, 6/152). In other words Allah the almighty and His Messenger are not asking a couple of terrorists to do Jihad, They are not commanding them to fight the enemy recklessly, They are not advising them to endanger the lives of the defenseless, innocent people left behind…

Allah the almighty forbid cruelty, transgression, atrocity, recklessness, which shows that there are some legal ways (without applying these forbidden things and which does not necessitates and forces Muslims to use them) in Islam to fight; to ignore this and to apply illegal ways like terrorism is just a lack of belief and it is to say (God forbid) “there is no legal method of fighting, (God forbid) Allah made a mistake by not commanding terrorism”… Yes, there is a (legal) place, time, norm and method for everything and acting without considering all these is to follow the steps of the Satan not the way of Allah and His Messenger…

God forbid, does that mean that Allah and His Messenger do not know the right way, but these ignorant and evil people do? Since no sane man or Muslim can claim the opposite, how come they can ignore the verses of Allah, Muhammad’s (sav) words and actions, the long-lasting historical unanimity of the Ummah and how come some Muslims can cooperate with them? One should fear Allah and should repent; what befits a Muslim is to follow the way of Allah and His Messenger, not to become voluntary soldiers of the Satan by believing the ignorant and evil people who adopt non-Islamic methods!..

The Norm For Legality Is Islam, Not The Cruel Enemy

Making contra-terrorist activities by making out a case for the terrorist activities of countries like the USA, Israel and the UK is to take the legality from the cruel enemies not from Islam. The norm for legality and its source is Islam, it must be Islam. In this context, to make the similar things the cruel enemy does and call them legal is both meaningless and an evident heresy.

For instance, to accuse the USA for some of her actions (in other words, to consider her actions illegal) and accept similar actions (in other words, contra-actions) as legal is inconsistent. If the norm for a Muslim is not going to be Islam, Qur’an, Muhammad (sav), if a Muslim is going to do everything the cruel do, if something is going to be legal just because the enemy does the same, how can we talk about Islam? Again, for example, to attack the tourists coming from the west who are not active fighters and are also guests of Muslims and to kill many Muslims at the same time is surely a non-Islamic attitude, a voluntary Satan’s soldiership…

The terrorist actions of president Bush and the gang he formed do not give the right to Osama and his gang to make terrorist activities and they cannot be excused; on the contrary, they turn the rightful action into an unright action. Besides, while Bush and his gang (the local and global supporters) submit different excuses for what they do, they never utter the words “Jesus, God, Christianity”, but Osama and his supporters use holy concepts like “Islam, Allah, Jihad” for their own aim, they sell their after-life for their worlds, they use Islam for their damnable acts (they themselves become an instrument to the cruel)!..

Look, I call the modern pharaoh Bush and his gang cruel, terrorists, liars (it is not an insult, it is reality) here, but that does not give me the right, as a Muslim, to torture, to terrorize, to lie; Islam would not legitimize such kind of attitude of mine. Yes, fighting the cruel in every way is different from Islamic strive (in other words Jihad) towards the cruel and no one has the right to distort this fact!.. While the things done by Osama and his gang would not legitimize attacking their families or people or coreligionists, the things done by Bush and his gang would not legitimize attacking people from the western countries or Christian temples (churches) or mosques Shiites perform at, neither mentally, nor remorsefully, nor religiously…

Yes, the members of terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda should ask themselves this: Would we legitimize it, if the enemy attacked our families and coreligionists (thanks to you that is what happens) due to things we did? Since we would not do that, why do we still go on attacking their citizens or coreligionists and at the same time go on killing many innocent people who are Muslims or non-Muslims? Where would someone go; to heaven or to hell? Since something done is regarded as cruel and sinful when others do it, why should it be meritorious and deserving of heaven when we do it? Is killing myself along with innocent people martyrdom or murder?..

Our Muslim brothers who take a liking to this cruel people who cooperate with the enemy no matter what reason and get angry when this cruel people are criticized, who excuse them by saying “at least they fight”, should know that is not right. Moreover, the result they get and the situation which gets even worse, obviously display that they are wrong, one should see that and stop supporting them by any means. (The same is true for the opposing party, to support Bush and his gang in their so-called methods to fight terrorism means to terrorize the world even more.) There are many kinds of cruelty and cruel people and the people mentioned are ones of these kinds, unfortunately this is how it is. What befit us Muslims is to follow the good ways of Islam and Muhammad (sav), to conform in our own joy, not to turn vengeance into our religion…

Yes, there is fact which is “turning unright in a rightful action or being turned unright by others”; that is what Al Qaeda and such others do to us. Saying “we fight back with their methods” is something different from slandering Islam by calling the cruelty as “Jihad” and from turning a right movement into an unright movement!.. For instance, claiming “We are doing Islamic Jihad, we are performing actions of martyrdom, what we do is right and legal” instead of saying “they are doing the same, even much more than we do, we fight fire with fire, there is no such thing or whatsoever in Islam, but we have no other choice” is to double the cruelty they do, to smear Allah and His religion, to blacken Islam and Muslims… labeling the things Al Qaeda and such others do as “legal” or “Islamic” makes them not only liars, but also slanderers and the biggest tyrants ever; it surely does not befit any Muslim to support or sympathize with such people … Besides, you cannot expect people to behave according to Islam who slander Islam in the first place -cause it serves them well-…

Even if they easily call the ones who do not share their thoughts as “deviant” or “ungodly”, I cannot easily call them “ungodly” for I do not know what in someone’s heart is, but Qur’an tells us “not to kill, for God has made this forbidden”, “not to prohibit good things that are made lawful”, “not to turn your desire into your religion”, “miserable indeed is what your belief orders of you if you are believers”; Consequently, the behavior of those who turn forbidden things into lawful is a disbelieving attitude and one should criticize this attitude not support it. One should fight against such non-Islamic attitudes and should not support the slander against the religion of Allah or remain silent…

All in all, Jesus would not say “Bush and his gang do represent me beautifully”, but would Muhammad (sav) say “Osama and his gang do represent me well”?.. Then, let me finish the subject with a hadith from the Last Sermon which is the summary of Islam: “Take heed not to go astray after me!.. Doubtlessly, you will return to your Owner and be questioned for what you did!”

Is Terrorism An Islamic Way?

Terror literally means “deterrence, killing, destroying, causing fear and terrorizing.” Terrorism means “using violence to obtain political demands and terrorizing”, in other words “causing fear, filling with horror, fighting the enemy without considering who the target will be” and such a method is not Islamic at all…

The reason why Al Qaeda and such terrorist organizations describe their seditious actions as “Jihad, Islamic struggle” is due to not only their ignorance but also their treachery against Islam and Muslims, their distortion of realities and due to deceiving others. What they do is not Jihad at all, just choosing the “easy way out”, avoiding the difficult and turning to illegal ways without developing a legal method for struggle…

Do you know what their methods resemble to? Just like a man attacking someone’s child, wife, animal or goods because he is not strong enough for his cruel neighbor; surely, this is inhuman, unethical and non-Islamic!..

Some basic verses and hadiths about this subject are as follows:

« Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves. » (2/27)

« ...Say: “Vile indeed are the behests of your Faith if ye have any faith!” » (2/93)

« And who is more unjust than he who forbids that in places for the worship of Allah, Allah's name should be celebrated?-whose zeal is (in fact) to ruin them? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them except in fear. For them there is nothing but disgrace in this world, and in the world to come, an exceeding torment. » (2/114)

« O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the evil one, for he is to you an avowed enemy.

For he commands you what is evil and shameful, and that ye should say of Allah that of which ye have no knowledge. » (2/168-169)

« ...Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter... » (2/191, 217)

« When he turns his back, His aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief.

When it is said to him, “Fear Allah”, He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Enough for him is Hell;-An evil bed indeed (To lie on)! » (2/205-206)

« ...These are the limits ordained by Allah; so do not transgress them if any do transgress the limits ordained by Allah, such persons wrong (Themselves as well as others). » (2/229)

« When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things. » (2/231)

« And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to Allah. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly. » (2/281)

« “On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him.”

Say: “If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” » (3/30-31)

« Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.

Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty. » (3/104-105)

« And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. » (3/135)

« ...Allah loveth not those that do wrong. » (3/140)

« But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment. » (4/14)

« Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who claim sanctity for themselves? Nay-but Allah Doth sanctify whom He pleaseth. But never will they fail to receive justice in the least little thing.

Behold! how they invent a lie against Allah! but that by itself is a manifest sin! » (4/49-50)

« Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things. » (4/85)

« If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge! » (4/115)

« On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. » (5/32)

« Say: O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. » (5/77)

« Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did. » (5/79)

« Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He command you. that ye may be righteous. » (6/153)

« Then shall we question those to whom Our message was sent and those by whom We sent it.

And verily, We shall recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent (at any time or place).

The balance that day will be true (to nicety): those whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper:

Those whose scale will be light, will be their souls in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated Our signs. » (7/6-9)

« Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge. » (7/33)

« “Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world.” That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs. » (7/51)

« Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. » (7/55-56)

« Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from Satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when lo! they see (aright)! But their brethren (the evil ones) plunge them deeper into error, and never relax (their efforts). » (7/201-202)

« O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment. » (8/24-25)

« Say: “Those who invent a lie against Allah will never prosper.” » (10/69)

« When they had had their throw, Moses said: What ye have brought is sorcery: Allah will surely make it of no effect: for Allah prospereth not the work of those who make mischief. » (10/81)

« And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall ye be helped. » (11/113)

« But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home! » (13/25)

« Say: “Everyone acts according to his own disposition: But your Lord knows best who it is that is best guided on the Way.” » (17/84)

« O ye who believe! follow not Satan's footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things). » (24/21)

« Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. » (25/68)

« “And follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant, -

Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways).” » (26/151-152)

« That Home of the Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not high-handedness or mischief on earth: and the end is (best) for the righteous.

« ...Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. » (49/11)

« Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. » (53/38)

Is There An Islamic Terror?

Whereas Islam means peace, well being, tolerance, order, justice…

Terror means; violence, compulsion, oppression, cruelty, intimidation…

As you can see terror can never be Islamic!..

Saying “Islamic terror” is as absurd as saying, whitish black, living dead, greenish red, flying cat, egg-laying roosters…

Yes, calling “haram” as “halal” is nothing but ignorance, if not ignorance then the biggest slander!.. Describing a religion the name of which is “peace” (Islam) with all the opposite concepts is an unreal and ridiculous expression and nothing more than just deception…

On this path there is no cruelty, terror, evil, bigotry, transgression, exploitation, murder, oppression, compulsion, contempt; nobody can defend the opposite, but they can just speak their prejudices… Some try to continue various exploitative methods by using the mass media and they try to prevent Islam from being known correctly, being spread and being lived with because they know that the solution of this is Islam… One should not be deceived; can a sin ever be Islamic?!..

Again some people (so-called Muslims) slander Allah and His religion (e.g. by foisting terror on Islam, by distorting the concept of Jihad etc.) without actually having any real evidences; But how will they pay for that? Commenting / distorting the verses of Qur’an deliberately according to their own ideas is to repeat the same mistakes of previous people and to change “haram” and “halal” the way they want and is a lack of consideration and faith…

Since Islam is the only religion and order (life style) to combine world and after-life, society and the individual, body and soul, it is the inevitable way for solution in all eras, the end of any other religion will be frustration… Thus, it is the perfect life style and cannot be divided; you cannot believe in parts of the scripture and disbelieve in parts…

To bring forward meaningless claims, to put forth unfounded doubts, to try to blacken Islam with unreal comments just because of some mistakes others did, are nothing more than an application of “throw mud and see the stain on him” and turning the realities upside down, but these delusions have no value against justice / reality, one must not be deceived… Whereas the military actions of the USA is wrong, the methods of terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda are also illegal…

Eventually, terror and terrorism are not Islamic methods, not a way Muslims discovered, but a path of cruelty imported from abroad (from people who took the easy way out); God forbid, Islam does not force or leaves Muslims beholden to such kind of non-Islamic methods, Islam has an answer for any question and a solution to any problem and these solutions are based on justice and they do not contain cruelty…

The one who acts both rationally and religiously in the opposite way Islam commands is a sinner, evil, seditious, cruel… Muhammad (sav) clearly explained with His oracular words that the one doing such a wrong thing (which is not in Islam) will be disapproved and He also condemned the mistakes He saw himself and warned them not to do it again…

The Ones Who Let Down The Jihad

Mu'adh ibn Anas al-Juhani Narrated from his father: I fought along with the Prophet (sav) in such and such battles. The people occupied much space and encroached on the road. The Prophet (sav) sent an announcer to announce among the people:

“Those who occupy much space or encroach on the road will not be credited with jihad.”

(Abu Dawoud, Jihad 97)

O’ those who are unaware, wicked and deceitful, what do you think Jihad is? You think you can attack everyone without considering Muslim-non-Muslim, cruel-innocent, sin-good deed and that is going to be Jihad, right?

The ones disturbing other people, bothering other people are not credited with Jihad, are the ones who maltreat people credited with Jihad or is such a thing acceptable? Surely not…

So you will not be credited with Jihad as long as you are hand in hand with cruelty, as long as you disturb people wrongfully, as long as you cause disquiet in the Muslim’s safety and tranquility… It is not that easy to enter paradise by killing the innocent in suicide attacks!..

Islamic Method or Selfish Method?

Yes, will we adapt ourselves to Islam, or will we adapt Islam to ourselves? Can we be called Muslims if we comment on Islam’s commands the way we want it, calling the things bad, ugly, wrong, haram, cruel when others do it, calling it good, right, halal, just when we do it, if we do t just he opposite what Islam tells us to do? Can such faith be acceptable?..

The harm done to Islam and Muslims by Al Qaeda is much more than the harm done by all the cruel including the USA. So who does Al Qaeda serve for? Who else do they serve but the USA and the other tyrants by helping them inadvertently? What else do they contribute but terrorize the world and the lives of the Muslims? Besides, we cannot see either Osama or the other so-called sheiks on the fields of Jihad (?!), I wonder why? If martyrdom is so easy, why do they avoid being a martyr and send others (actually to a murder and probably to hell) to martyrdom?!

While the attitude of the western countries attacking innocent Muslims with the incitement of terrorist attacks of Al Qaeda and similar organizations in many non-Islamic countries will not be considered legal by Al Qaeda, attacking innocent westerners due to some cruel westerners cannot be considered legal as well! The attitude of Al Qaeda contradicts with itself and its basic claims. Why should something be a crime and illegal when others do it and be legal or Islamic when Al Qaeda does it? Cannot be! Following the ones who claim the opposite is to join voluntarily Satan’s army…

Yes, after such kind of terrorist attacks; insult, torture, murder, cruelty, etc increases against Muslims everywhere in the world and these unfair reactions cannot be considered legal; at the same time, just because of the occupation of some cruel countries, torturing the other innocent people cannot be considered legal!.. (Saying “what they do is also terror and even if some Muslims die every now and then, there is no other way” is not an answer and such simple and meaningless excuses that does not even convince anyone would not please Allah the almighty at all. One example from so many is: the children of Israel were not given the right to slaughter the children of Egyptians just because the pharaoh slaughtered their children!)

While attacking the Muslims in the west or the western Muslims, mosques, schools, etc. is perceived unfair, attacking non-Muslims in the east or the eastern non-Muslims, their temples (house of God), their companies, etc, and western civilian targets is equally illegal, it is rationally and religiously unacceptable and when the ones, who do these things, think thoroughly they will realize that remorsefully they contradict with themselves. It does not befit any Muslim to Follow or excuse those cruel people. How can anyone sympathize with them or support them, while the first target they hit is Islam and Muslims? Allah the almighty tells in Qur’an “And you shall not lean towards those who have wronged else you will incur the Fire” (11/113); the ones who apply cruelty or contribute to it will have to suffer the consequences…

Eventually, Al Qaeda is an organization that should be wiped out with all their reasons, whatever reasons they put forward in their terrorist activities and if they are sincere, if they have just a bit of reason they should end this sedition by fighting each other, because there is nothing else that directly or indirectly harms Islam and Muslims more than Al Qaeda… Al Qaeda said after the London attack that the reason was “because you killed Iraqis”; Well then, who does Al Qaeda kill in Iraq?! Surely Iraqis, many innocent Muslims!.. Can you see the controversy and the testimony of their own error?! And again, weren’t most of the people murdered in Istanbul on a day in Ramadan Muslims?..

In other words, Al Qaeda is an organization which is responsible for killing the most Muslims in the world or which causes most killings of Muslims, moreover, Al Qaeda has the greatest responsibility for Muslims to be insulted in every way and to be exposed to any kind of cruelty. Surely, Muslims must not sympathize with this organization and its members but must hate these traitors and tyrants…

When they are criticized that it has nothing to do with Islam, some say “Do you criticize them (the atrocity of the cruel countries) like you criticize us?”; yes, but they do not do what they do in the name of Islam, they do not call what they do Jihad, they do not deliberately target mosques!.. In other words they do not say “that’s what God commands, that’s what Jesus wants, that’s what Christianity asks, etc!” Moreover, they bring excuses even they themselves do not believe, they do not do it in the name of a religion!.. But, you slander your own religion, murder innocent people even including your brothers, and you can tolerate that; and that’s what is wrong!..

The ones guided to this activities, in other words the ones guided to murder, directly to hell should ask their leaders, their so-called sheiks (if they cannot ask, then there is neither “Islam” nor “Muslims”!); Do you approve of the attack of westerners on innocent Muslims? Cause if you don’t, why do you attack innocent western non-Muslims and meanwhile kill mostly innocent Muslims or let them face many difficulties? Is this contradictory attitude Jihad or murder?..

For instance, if a non-Muslim drinking alcohol is regarded as a wrong behavior in Islam, can such a behavior become permissible in Islam when a Muslim drinks it? Since this is out of question, what makes the cruelty of a Muslim something legal or even Jihad? Can there be a greater slander and/or deception?! If a non-Muslim’s acts like telling lies, slandering, distorting his religion, murdering are regarded as a cruelty in Islam, how can these things become permissible when a -so-called- Muslim does them? To claim such a thing and preach them as if they are religious verdicts is an opposite attitude towards many verses in Qur’an, the basic principles of Islam, the Sunnah of Muhammad (sav), the unanimity of Muslims, reason and logic, science and ethics, it is just the way Satan wants us to act, it is to become voluntary soldiers of Satan, it is not Hizbullahism, but Hizbusatanism!..

Do not forget: these people who once were servants and collaborators of the USA kill Muslims with the same reason; they are attacking people who say “I am a Muslim” and make their prayers on their own by saying “they are collaborating with the USA and her partners” (actually they themselves collaborate with them in a way, they do activities which is in their favor)!..

We should ask our brothers who sympathize with them for various reasons; Do you sympathize with people who drink alcohol, commit fornication and are thieves? So, why do you sympathize with these sinners, these tyrants and these murderers?! If I should rephrase my question, do you sympathize with someone, who drinks heavily and commits adultery, just because he is an enemy of the USA? Even if he urinates on the wall of the whole neighborhood just to harm the American Consulate!.. Then why? For God’s sake, let’s bring an end to these fallacy and let’s offer each other kindness and prohibit each other from badness!.. Allah the almighty will not change our fate unless we straighten up ourselves…

Can The Ones Applying Non-Islamic Methods, Be Representatives Of Islam and Muslims?

We should fight the cruel and we will, but to apply cruelty, to ignore innocent people, adapt wrong methods while doing it, is a treachery to the case, it is to serve to the enemy, it is to ignore the basic principles of Islam, Qur’an (the verses of Allah), Muhammad’s (sav) oral and written Sunnah, it is a sign of disbelief, it is to become voluntary soldiers of Satan…

Sure enough, the first target organizations like Al Qaeda hit are unfortunately Islam and Muslims, they are the ones who lay the groundwork for the cruel who wouldn’t be able to that as much as they wanted and thus, they can never be the representatives and/or defendants of either Islam or Muslims… They harm Islam and Muslims with their non-Islamic ways and methods as much as other cruel people… Their path is not the way of faith but the path of blasphemy…

« Nay, those who seek gain in evil, and are girt round by their sins,- they are companions of the Fire: Therein shall they abide (For ever). » (2/81)

« O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy.

« Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, “Now have I repented indeed;” nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous. » (4/17-18)

« If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour. » (4/31)

« O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination. » (4/59)

« O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. » (4/135)

« O ye who believe! make not unlawful the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, but commit no excess: for Allah loveth not those given to excess.

Eat of the things which Allah hath provided for you, lawful and good; but fear Allah, in Whom ye believe. » (5/87-88)

« O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.

Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?

Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the message) in the clearest manner. » (5/90-92)

« O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do. » (5/105)

« O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you. » (8/27)

« O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed). » (9/119)

« O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the Right: That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement. » (33/70-71)

« Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best (meaning) in it: those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding. » (39/18)

« If two parties among the Believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy. » (49/9-10)

« O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. » (59/18)

« O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, “Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things.” » (66/8)

He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.”; “He who did any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected.

(Bukhari, Al-I’tisam 5; Muslim, Judicial Decisions (Al-Aqdiyya) 18; Abu Dawoud, Sunnah 6)

Be careful and vigilant for new innovated things. Because every new innovated thing is an innovation (which is just the opposite of Sunnah) , each innovation is a depravity, deviation.”; “Allah will not accept the blessings of those who own an innovation until they leave that innovation.

(Tirmizhi, Scholarship 16; Abu Dawoud, Sunnah 6; Ibn Maajah, 50)

“If someone leaves (the argument and) lies while on the false and unfair path, he will be built a mansion on the edge of heaven. If someone stops quarreling even if he is right, he will be built a mansion in the middle of heaven. If someone beautifies his ethics, he will be built a mansion on the best part of heaven.”

(Ibn Maajah, 51)

He who does not show mercy to the children or respect to the elders is not of us; also he does not command Islam’s commands or forbids the unacceptable.

(Tirmizhi, Righteousness 15)

“He who draws the sword against us is not of us.”

(Muslim, Faith 162)

“He who deceives us is not of us.”, “He who cheats is not of us.”

(Muslim, Faith 164; Tirmizhi, Transactions 74; Abu Dawoud, Transactions 52; Ibn Maajah, Trade 36, 2225)

Both some questions and their answers are really simple, Islam is not a complicated religion; It has all the answers to all the questions, all the solutions to all the problems… Then we have to consider some basic questions and their answers;

Can a structure which does not take Muhammad (sav) as model or adopt His methods and advises or even acts just the opposite of His words and practices ever be Islamic?

Can a way which does not discern the innocent, know any boundaries or even chooses Muslims as target ever be Islamic?

Can bombing a mosque, bombing a church, bombing a synagogue be an act of a Muslim? Doesn’t that mean to rebel obviously against Muhammad (sav)? Can those who do these things be the Ummah of Muhammad (sav) (or be martyred and go to heaven)?..

Can saying such words “no you are not a Muslim, you collaborate with the enemy, you deserve to die” to someone who says “I am a Muslim” and even does his prayers on his own, ever be Islamic?

Islam has also verdicts about Jihad (Islamic struggle) and war as in many other subjects; Is ignoring these verdicts completely an Islamic act or the voluntary soldiership of Satan?..

Is turning to illegal ways and choosing the easy way out just because the legal ways and solutions are too difficult an Islamic attitude?..

The reason why one would do just the opposite, although such evident verdicts are in front of their eyes, is either ignorance or wickedness, both of which are reasons enough for us not to follow them… Yes, they either do not know these verdicts, are not aware of historical events, which would show they are ignorant and a sane Muslim should not follow the ignorant but turn his back if he cannot talk some sense into them… Or they know everything or they just ignore everything even when they are reminded, they deliberately do just the opposite as sinners and they become evil by sinning and rebelling and the way a sane Muslim follows those evil people is incomprehensible…

Don’t Believe Every Word and Don’t Be Fooled By Claims

While the president of the United States of America George W. Bush, who commits State Terror and is the murderer of hundreds of thousands of people (who does not recognize international law), is not the representative and/or followers of Jesus,

While the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who is the murderer of hundreds of thousands of people and commits State Terror (who does not recognize international law), is not the representative and/or followers of Jesus,

While the Prime Minister of, the provocateur and satellite of the USA, England Tony Blair, who is the murderer of hundreds of thousands of people and commits State Terror (who does not recognize international law), is not the representative and/or followers of Jesus,

While the prime minister of Israel Ariel Sharon, who is the murderer of thousands of people and commits State Terror (who encourages the USA to oppress), is not the representative and/or followers of Moses,

While the Leader of Iraq Saddam Hussein, who is responsible for the killings of millions of Muslims, who fought both with his own countrymen and Iraq’s neighbors and destroyed his country which was once full with historical and natural richness and could have been one of the exemplifying countries of the world and who also ruined himself by becoming a puppet of the western countries, is not the representative and/or followers Of Muhammad (sav) (these people mentioned can only be followers of cruel people like the pharaoh)..

People and organizations (like Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda) which apply non-Islamic methods and which do not follow Muhammad’s (sav) way or his exemplifying life cannot be representatives of Islam and Muslims, either; they can only be voluntary soldiers of Satan and the collaborators of the enemy with their prejudicial attitudes to both themselves and Muslims even if they think they do everything in the name of “Islam”, but actually slander it!..

Yes, one has to think; The president of the USA George Bush has killed hundred of thousands of Muslims, but who gave him these excuses? Who provided him (and the cruel) with these opportunities and excuses they would never even find? Who opened fire against millions of defenseless and innocent Muslims? Who caused many Islamic countries to be subject to open or veiled occupation? Who brought all the Muslims around the world face to face with oral, written and actual attacks and potential threats? Who slandered Islam and Its members the most by presenting it wrongly to the world and caused Islam and Its values to be insulted and slandered numerous times.

How can these people and/or organizations, which caused the greatest harm with their treacheries, ever be Muslims? How can they represent Islam or Muslims? How can Muslims agree and sympathize with them?.. No, they are Satan’s voluntary soldiers who cause as much harm as (who collaborate with the enemy -knowingly or unknowingly-) the cruel leaders of the USA, Russia and Israel…

Muslims must not follow these cruel people, on the contrary they must remove them from themselves, moreover they must stop leading an ignorant life and try to become model and leading personalities… Everybody must know the principles of the religion thoroughly and must not be deceived and used by such seditions by having a real faith not a fake one…

Yes, applying non-Islamic methods and doing them in the name of Islam is a deviation which is unsuccessful, resultless, time-consuming and which makes things even worse.

“Dumb devil”ness

Muhammad (sav) refers keeping silence against cruelty as “dumb devilness” in one of his hadiths; People like Osama bin Laden have influence and effect on terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda; so then, why doesn’t Osama bin Laden warn them when they make mistakes but always praises them and encourages them to make new attacks? Some so-called resistance fighters attack the mosques, bomb the congregation of the mosques which has nothing to do with Islam, this is not Jihad but homicide, one does not become a martyr but a killer, one does not go to heaven for that but to hell… the attacks are in such a state that the number of Muslims killed in one day is more than the number of occupants; this is not a resistance but just serving the enemy and planting seeds of sedition…

Why don’t Osama bin Laden and the other ringleaders show any reactions? Why don’t they tell that this is the wrong way? There may be two reasons for that, either ignorance or treachery; in other words, they do not know or understand that what they do is wrong or even though they know it they do not care, they hesitate to criticize the ones they think they are on their sides, thus ignoring Allah’s command saying “be fair even if he is one of you” and allowing them to plant seeds of sedition which again is treachery…

Yes, what is the point in protesting when the USA attack the mosques and the congregation and ignoring when the so-called resistance fighters do it.. A Muslim is the one who sees and follows the truth; if you still insist on doing the same mistakes, see that your faith is deficient or meaningless and repent as soon as possible…

Is It Possible To Reach Success and Allah’s Assent, With non-Islamic Ways?

Not only the claims but also the results taken, the outcome produced are enough to display if the way followed, the words said and the method chosen are right or successful? Can a method which causes millions of Muslims to be killed, which leads many Muslim countries to be subject to open or veiled occupation, which gives the cruel the excuses and trump cards they wouldn’t themselves find, which made Muslims all over the world targets and subject to oral and actual attacks, which causes Islam and Its divinity to be insulted and slandered many times and the religion of peace to be associated with terror, which, all in all, does not reach success be a rational (sensible) method, consequently, ever be Islamic?

Surely not… And surely the causers of such actions cannot be representatives of Islam or Muslims… They cannot earn the assent of Allah, because Allah does not accept cruelty, does not permit injustice and does not love the cruel… one can never earn Allah’s assent by rebelling against Allah’s commands and His Messenger’s sunnah…

« ..and fear Allah: That ye may prosper. » (2/189)

« And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things. » (2/224)

« “There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth...” » (3/13)

« “...Allah loveth not those who do wrong.” » (3/57)

« Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah? -while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. » (3/83)

« And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves... Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided. Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,- » (3/103-105)

« If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? in Allah, then, Let believers put their trust. » (3/160)

« And the Hypocrites also. These were told: “Come, fight in the way of Allah, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city).” They said: “Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you.” They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but Allah hath full knowledge of all they conceal. » (3/167)

« Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime:

They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do. » (4/107-108)

« If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge! » (4/115)

« O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment. » (5/2)

« Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight. » (5/16)

« Do they then seek after a judgment of (the days of) ignorance? But who, for a people whose faith is assured, can give better judgment than Allah? » (5/50)

« Say: “Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle thee; so fear Allah, O ye that understand; that (so) ye may prosper.” » (5/100)

« Who doth more wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah or rejecteth His signs? But verily the wrong-doers never shall prosper. » (6/21)

So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper.” » (7/157)

« “Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).” » (8/53)

« The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practise regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise. » (9/71)

« Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers. » (9/112)

« There will every soul prove (the fruits of) the deeds it sent before: they will be brought back to Allah their rightful Lord, and their invented falsehoods will leave them in the lurch. » (10/30)

« Such is Allah, your real Cherisher and Sustainer: apart from truth, what (remains) but error? How then are ye turned away? » (10/32)

« Therefore stand firm (in the straight Path) as thou art commanded,- thou and those who with thee turn (unto Allah); and transgress not (from the Path): for He seeth well all that ye do. And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall ye be helped. » (11/112-113)

« ...Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts... » (13/11)

« But say not - for any false thing that your tongues may put forth,- “This is lawful, and this is forbidden,” so as to ascribe false things to Allah. For those who ascribe false things to Allah, will never prosper. » (16/116)

« Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. » (16/125)

« The answer of the Believers, when summoned to Allah and His Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, is no other than this: they say, “We hear and we obey”: it is such as these that will attain felicity. » (24/51)

« They will bear their own burdens, and (other) burdens along with their own, and on the Day of Judgments they will be called to account for their falsehoods. » (29/13)

« Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. » (43/62)

« Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors. » (57/27)

« ...So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment. » (59/7)

***

The most hated persons among the people to Allah are three: A person who deviates from the right conduct in the Haram (sanctuaries of Kaaba), a person who seeks that the traditions of the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance even though he joined Islam, a person who seeks to shed somebody's blood without any right.

(Bukhari, Al-Diyat (Blood-wit) 9)

One who defected from obedience and separated from the main body of the Muslims (and if he died in that state) would die the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya. One who fights under the banner of a people who ate blind who gets flared up with family pride, calls, (people) to fight for their. family honor, and supports his kith and kin if he is killed (in this fight), he dies as one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya. Whoso attacks my Ummah (indiscriminately) killing the righteous and the wicked of them, sparing not (even) those staunch in faith and fulfilling not his promise made with those who have been given a pledge of security-he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.

(Bukhari, Judgments 4; Muslim, Alm House 53; Nasai,

Prohibition 28; Ibn Maajah, Fiten 7)

One should think, decide and turn to truth;

Did the cruelty against Muslims increase or decrease because of these actions? It did…

Have new doors been opened to new cruelty or not? It has…

Did all these actions return to Muslims as death, devastation, cruelty and slander or nor? It did…

Did many Muslims around the world living in peace lose their peace or not? They did…

Then, what kind of success can we talk about? In that case, aren’t these non-Islamic methods nothing more but ignorance, treachery, cruelty and a voluntary soldiership of Satan? Yes, they are…

For instance, if someone tells his friend that he would lighten his load but increases his load with his actions and causes him to hurt his waist, can we talk about a help, benefit, success? What is the claim, what is the result! So, where is the success?

Because of the verses 167 of Ali-Imran and 77 of Al-Nesa, this is not the time to attack, this is the time to defend and resist, if you do not know what and when to do something, you will never be able to reach success…

One should not forget this, either, even if it is impossible but if Al Qaeda somehow obtains weapons of mass destruction and uses them against the USA and even intimidates the USA, this will not happen in an Islamic way and will never earn the assent of Allah…

When You Attack The Cruel, Will They Throw Back Roses?

What were you expecting when you attacked the heart of the USA, the strongest country in the world, what could happen? Would the USA congratulate you, throw back roses, give up their regional policies?.. Or would they respond harshly? Surely they would respond harshly, they would seek for revenge…

For instance, Iraq was surely more powerful than Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda, but when they attacked the economic benefits of the USA (by occupying Kuwait) the USA did not tolerate that and responded by killing hundred of thousands of Iraqi… Yes, that was something expected; after all, how could they endanger the lives of millions of innocent Muslims while they had no power to resist?.. So it seems there is a stupidity and treachery…

It is a stupidity, just like it was a stupidity of the Germans to attack the merchant ships of the USA and draw them in the war, just like it was a stupidity of the Japanese to attack the navy of the USA in Pearl Harbor and draw them into the war, it is also a stupidity of Al-Qaeda to attack at the heart of the USA and to awake the sleeping snake and to open the door of cruelty for the cruel…

It is treachery, because they do not have the power to resist a counter strike, they left millions of defenseless and innocent Muslims face to face with fire, they caused Muslims all around the world to be under threat, they gave the occasion, opportunity and excuses to the enemy (the cruel) they would never find themselves, these attacks returned to all the Muslims as occupation, death, devastation, insult, slander, threat, cruelty, etc. and Muhammad (sav) was not followed as an example the way Allah commanded…

Yes, stupidity, treachery, ignorance, etc. do not befit a Muslim; as noted in many of Muhammad’s (sav) hadiths the things done by people who commit non-Islamic acts are all denied, they are invited to the right path, if they do not accept it they will pay the price, the punishment of these traitors is certain!... Consequently, no Muslim should support and/or sympathize with these cruel people and these collaborators; They are not the companions and defenders of Islam, but ignorant and treacherous people who make the voluntary soldiership of Satan… My advice to all the people who are somehow involved with these organizations or who sympathize with these organizations is to turn their back to these cruel and treacherous people who are voluntary soldiers of Satan…

They are harming Islam and Muslims much more than the enemies do… Yes, unfortunately ignorance has arisen again in some parts of the Islamic world and one must struggle against it… Some societies or communities have turned their traditions or some people’s personal ideas into religions and the way they live is not the way of Islam but the way of a degenerated religion... If these people who are involved with these organizations want to serve for Islam and Muslims, they should kill these cruel people, killers and traitors who tell them to “kill” instead of killing innocent defenseless people!..

I should also state that unfortunately it is not easy for real heroes to evolve from people; For instance, why wasn’t there a German to put a bullet through Hitler’s head while he was doing the greatest evil to Germany and to the Germans? Why wasn’t there anyone to send Stalin’s soul to hell while he was slaughtering millions of his people? Why didn’t any Iraqi kill Saddam while he was betraying Iraq and the Iraqis?.. As one can easily see from these examples, if there had been such people somewhere out there, they would have prevented their people and other people from being tortured by these cruel people…

Likewise, isn’t there a member of terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda who knows Islam and who would sacrifice himself to the way of Islam to show his reaction against these cruel people? The Ummah had the right to criticize even the things Muhammad (sav) did, but how open are the ringleaders of these organizations to criticism and consultation? If I were a member of Al-Qaeda, could I deliver these things orally or written to the ringleaders? Even if I could, would I receive a response or violence? I think I would receive violence and these inhuman attitude is surely not Islamic…

The only way to salvation for the leaders of organizations like Al-Qaeda, in other words Osama Bin Laden and other ringleaders (if they think to accept Allah’s invitation to heaven) is to repent, to call the others to leave the way by telling everyone clearly that the way they follow is wrong and non-Islamic, to surrender to a country (a Muslim or non-Muslim country where they will be trialed) and sacrifice their lives and leave it to Allah if they will be ever forgiven or not… As for the members of these organizations; they should stop giving harm to Islam and Muslims, leave the organizations or first of all should kill the cruel who order them to “kill” and thus make sedition disappear…

The Right Way To Struggle Against Cruelty Without Applying Cruelty

Struggling against cruelty is not possible with cruel methods, by giving trump cards to the cruel and by serving to the cruel…

Leaving Muslims face to face with fire while pretending to defend the rights of Muslims is a far greater evil than the enemy would do.

Showing every non-Islamic attitude, hurting them, putting them in a difficult situation, exposing them to oral, written and actual attacks and cruelty by declaring himself as a so-called representative of Islam and Muslims is not Jihad but treachery…

Appearing in the name of Islam and applying non-Islamic methods is to do the same to Islam what Paul did to Christianity; It is to remove Islam from Its essence and to corrupt It by this or that reason…

Attacking a powerful (and ruthless) enemy while the innocent people left behind are defenseless, while they have no physical strength even when there is no chance of being successful and making the last choice the first and only choice is not only ignorance and stupidity but also treachery, is collaboration with the enemy and Satan’s voluntary soldiership…

Then, should not one fight against the cruel?.. Should not one fight the enemy when necessary?.. Should one remain silent against cruelty?.. Of course not; defending just the opposite and advising submission and staying calm without any reactions is also a voluntary soldiership of Satan and being a part of the cruelty…

However, the fight should be made in a legal way; defending justice, preventing cruelty, bringing justice, Jihad, martyrdom, etc. are all actions rewarded with great good deeds , but the important thing is to stay on legal grounds, to know the place and the time, not to go too far, not to exceed the limits…

For instance, if a country is occupied, surely the people will resist and the other Muslims will help them and must help them… But resisting an attack, self-defending, fighting against the occupiers is something different from attacking the enemy although you are powerless, endangering the lives of defenseless innocent people, getting involved with measureless struggle… The first ones are legal, the second, illegal, The first ones are useful, the second, harmful, The first ones are successful, the second, unsuccessful, The first ones show cleverness, the second, stupidity, The first ones show erudition, the second, ignorance.

What Needs To Be Done, Suggestions For Solution

One should make the public opinion of both the cruel and the oppressed conscious of the truth and should form a common reaction…

One should form a center of ideas and solutions; one should collect all ideas and offers for solution and make use of any which are legal and applicable…

One should support and hold the resistance on a legal ground and maintain it; in other words, one should help the oppressed and the mujahids materially and spiritually as much as Islam allows…

One should aim only and effectively at the occupiers, one should not touch the ones who knowingly or unknowingly collaborate with the enemy if not obliged (as long as they do not actually fight), thus one should not allow seeds of sedition to be planted and the folk to be divided, consequently, even if they are deceived the real enemy is the occupier and being successful against the occupiers will make the collaborators unsuccessful anyway…

One should launch campaigns of effective boycotts / embargoes world-wide against goods, products and services of the cruel and occupying countries and thus apply an economic pressure in the real sense; one should remind them that even if this cruelty and occupation comes to an end, they would still have to pay the price for a while just like the people they maltreated and one should make them give up if they do not want that…

One should put the public opinion of Muslim countries in motion in order to make them defend their own rights and apply pressure on the administrations so that they will have a voice on the international stage and collect the positive reflections; one should make use of the mass media and instead of using off-putting images and cassettes, one should publish instructive, uniting and reactionary publications…

One should not apply illegal ways, non-Islamic ways that is, and one should react to those who do it, invite them to the right way and turn them back from that wrong way; Because, such kind of behaviors harm Islam and Muslims much more, make everything harder, give the enemy the opportunity, occasion and excuses they want and mean the voluntary soldiership of Satan…

One should strengthen the connection among both Muslims and Muslim countries, build common organizations and structuring and stay against the attackers as a strong unity…

One should build a dissuasive strength, move while keeping in mind that all Muslims are brothers and are different organs of the same body, fight against the differences among Muslims and remove the unnecessary animosity…

One should take a lesson from history and not repeat the same mistakes, Muslims, who are not united against the cruel, remain silent and do not display effective reactions, will suffer similar oppressions just like the way the Ummah, who was not united against the Mongolians, once suffered great oppression; consequently, one should put an end to inattentiveness like “Long shall the snake that does not touch me live!”

One should not awake the sleeping snake, attack the powerful and cruel enemy when being powerless, endanger the lives of the defenseless innocent people behind or open doors for new cruelties while opposing the cruelties; First of all one should stay on his feet, reach the strength to resist the attacks, then take his own right, because everything has its place and time, Allah tells no one to “stop the cruelty in one day!”…

Yes, Islam is not the reason or source of terror, but its solution and remedy, the method which should be followed while fighting against terrorism is not violence (state terror), but putting an end to cruelty (and exploitation), establishing justice as much as possible, fighting the cruel, spreading the model ethics of the Messengers, removing ignorance and bigotry and preventing slanders like the association of Islam with terrorism (for instance, by western media sources), in other words preventing seeds of sedition from being planted and preventing generalizing of animosity…

Ideal Behaviors From The Model Prophet

Messenger Muhammad Said: O Osama.. Why Did You Kill?

Osama bin Zaid bin Haritha narrates: Allah's Messenger sent us (to fight) against Al-Huraqa (one of the sub-tribes) of Juhaina. We reached those people in the morning and defeated them. A man from the Ansar and I chased one of their men and when we attacked him, he said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah." The Ansari refrained from killing him but I stabbed him with my spear till I killed him. When we reached (Medina), this news reached the Prophet. He said to me:

O Osama! Why did you kill him after he had said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah?

'I said, “O Allah's Messenger! He said so in order to save himself.”

The Prophet said, “Why did you kill him?” The Prophet kept on repeating that question.

(According to another hearsay: He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Did you tear his heart in order to find out whether it had professed or not? And he went on repeating it to me.

In another hearsay: “did you kill someone who said there is no god but Allah, What would you do with when he would come (before you) on the Day of Judgment? He repeated it again and again.)

He repeated it So many times that I wished I had not been a Muslim before that day (and committed the murder).

(Bukhari, Megazi 45, Al-Diyat (Blood-wit) 2; Muslim, Faith 158-160; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 104; Tirmizhi, Destiny 7, Interpretation of the Surah 11; Ibn Maajah, Beginning 13; Allgationed Imam Ahmad, II, 4)

As one can see, Osama killed a person before him who killed many Muslims and at the end professed to become a Muslim during a war because he had his doubts, when Muhammad (sav) was informed about that matter He was sorry and furious and scolded Osama by saying “Why did you kill him?.. Did you tear his heart in order to understand it was due to fear of dying (to decide whether he told the truth or not) ?..” (Because Osama regretted what he had done and begged Muhammad (sav) prayed for forgiveness and commanded Osama to release one of his slaves.)

Now, what kind of lessons does this sample event include for Muslims? What are the morals a Muslim can learn from this parable?.. Yes, some of the basic results one can bring out from this event are;

It is not right to act in just doubt and to make negative decisions about an event you are not sure of…

Faith and a believer (Muslim) is extremely valuable, it is a big sin to kill someone who says La ilahe illallah, in other words who is a Muslim…

Muslims cannot act recklessly and boundlessly even in an actual war for there are basic Islamic and human rules they are dependent on and one should not exceed these limits…

It is unacceptable for someone who does Jihad in the name of Allah to defy the rules of Allah…

Powerful (dominant) and/or respected people should criticize mistakes even if they are made by their kins and correct the mistakes, otherwise the door to cruelty will open (It should not be forgotten that Osama was a Sahaba who Muhammad (sav) loved and who was a very close to Him)…

Muhammad (sav) is the “model Messenger” as stated in Qur’an of Allah the Almighty, so Muslims must follow His example; Since there are accurate (reliable) hearsays like the one above No one who says “I am a Muslim” cannot act the other way around…

Some of the hadith hearsays about this subject are as follows;

While Swearing To Parents Is A Sin, Is Oppressing Your Brother Regarded Good Deeds?

Since many examples prove Muhammad (sav) is the “model Messenger” and is the possessor of oracular words and behaviors, here is another model document from His life;

Abdullah bin 'Amr Narrates: Allah's Messenger said. “It is one of the greatest sins that a man should curse his parents!

It was asked (by the people), “O Allah's Messenger! How does a man curse his parents?”

The Prophet said, “Yes, the man abuses the father of another man and the latter abuses the father of the former and abuses his mother!

(Bukhari, General Behavior 4; Muslim, Faith 146; Tirmizhi, Righteousness 4; Abu Dawoud, General Behavior 129)

Attacking a powerful and ruthless enemy is to give them a cause to attack the Muslims and to open the door of cruelty to the cruel; Doubtlessly, this is not a little sin and no sane Muslim could commit such treachery… In short, just like the one who curses others prompts the others to curse back at him, the one who attacks someone else prompts him to attack back which should be avoided; such an attitude is not a rational and faithful act…

Everyone’s Responsible For His/Her Behaviors, Blood Feud Is Forbidden

Abu Rimthah narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) then smiled for my resemblance with my father, and for the fact that my father took an oath upon me. He then said:

He will not be responsible for the murder you commit, nor will you be responsible for the murder he commits.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited the verse: “No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another.”

(Abu Dawoud, Al-Diyat (Blood-wit) 2; Nasai, Oath 39)

Sa’lebe Ibn Zahdem al-Yerbui narrates: Some people from Ansar came and said “O’ Messenger of Allah! These are from Beni Sa’lebe Ibn Yerbu. They killed someone in the days of ignorance!” The Messenger raised his voice and said: “No one can be held responsible for anyone else’s killings.

(Nasai, Oath 39)

Tariq al-Muharibi narrates: One man (came and) said: “O’ Messenger of Allah! This is the tribe of Beni Sa’lebe that killed someone in the time of ignorance. Take our vengeance from them!”

After what was said the Messenger of Allah raised his hands so high that I could see the whiteness of His underarms. He said:

“A mother cannot murder in the name of his child (Her murder is on her own name).” Muhammad (sav) repeated that twice.

(Nasai, Oath 39)

Main Dimensions On Adjudging, Some Advice and Warnings

Haris Ibnu Amr Ibni Ahi’l-Mugire Ibni Su’be narrates from Mu'adh ibn Jabal: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) intended to send Mu'adh ibn Jabal to the Yemen, he asked:

“How will you judge when the occasion of deciding a case arises?”

He replied: “I shall judge in accordance with Allah's Book.”

He asked: “(What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in Allah's Book?”

He replied: “(I shall act) in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).”

He asked: “(What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and in Allah's Book?”

He replied: “I shall do my best to form an opinion and I shall spare no effort.”

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) then patted him on the breast and said: “Praise be to Allah Who has helped the messenger of the Messenger of Allah to find something which pleases the Messenger of Allah.”

(Abu Dawoud, Judicial Decisions (Al-Aqdiyya) 11; Tirmizhi, Judgments 3)

As narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Barka, Abu Bakra wrote to his son Abdullah who was in Sijistan: 'Do not judge between two persons when you are angry, for I heard the Prophet saying:

“A judge should not judge between two persons while he is in an angry mood.

(Bukhari, Judgments 13; Muslim, Judicial Decisions (Al-Aqdiyya) 16; Tirmizhi, Judgments 7; Abu Dawoud, Judicial Decisions (Al-Aqdiyya) 9; Nasai, Kudat 17)

Forbidding To Kill Anyone, Especially The Believers In Islam

According to Al-Miqdad bin 'Amr Al-Kindi he said: “O Allah's Messenger! Suppose I met one of the infidels and we fought, and he struck one of my hands with his sword and cut it off and then took refuge in a tree and said, “I surrender to Allah (i.e. I have become a Muslim),' could I kill him, after he had said this?”

Allah's Messenger said, “You should not kill him.”

I insisted “O Allah's Messenger! But he had cut off one of my two hands, and then he had uttered those words?”

Allah's Messenger replied, “No! You should not kill him, for if you kill him, he would be in your position where you had been before killing him, and you would be in his position where he had been before uttering those words.”

(Bukhari, Megazi 11; Muslim, Faith 155; Abu Dawoud, Jihad 104)

Cooperation and Solidarity

Abu Huraira narrates: The Messenger of Allah Said: “Religion is composed of Advice!” The others asked Him: “For whom O’ Messenger of Allah?”

For Allah, for His book, for His prophet, for the imams of Muslims and for all! A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He never stops helping him, he never lies to him, he never tortures him. Each of you is the reflection (mirror) of your brother and you shall ease the uneasiness of his when you see one.

(Tirmizhi, Righteousness 17-18; Muslim, Faith 95)

Anas narrates: Allah's Messenger said, “Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.”

People asked, “O Allah's Messenger! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?”

The Prophet said, “By preventing him from oppressing others.

(Bukhari, Atrocity 4; Tirmizhi, Fiten 68)

Abu Barza reported: I said: “Allah's Messenger, teach me something so that I may derive benefit from it.” He advised: “Remove the troublesome thing from the paths of the Muslims.”

(Muslim, Righteousness 131)

Encouragement For Some Beneficence, Avoidance From Some Wrong

“Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers as Allah has ordered you.

A muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He never betrays him, tortures him, leaves him deprived or insults him. Insulting a Muslim brother is enough for committing evil.

Each Muslim’s goods, blood and honor are forbidden to another Muslim.

Allah does not look to your faces nor to your bodies but He looks to your hearts and to your deeds. Godliness is here (pointing to his chest with his hand).

God forbid! Never make a sale upon someone else.

Allah's worshipers! Be brothers. It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days.”

(Bukhari, General Behavior 57-58; Muslim, Righteousness 28-34; Abu Dawoud, General Behavior 40; Tirmizhi, Righteousness 18)

“Allah revealed to me in His verses “Be humble, do not violate each others rights.””

(Ibn Maajah, 4214)

The Hadiths About One’s Self

Abu Huzaifa narrates: The Messenger of Allah said;

It is not possible for a believer to lower his self to the ground.

They asked: “How can one lower his self to the ground?”

He replied: “He confronts himself with a trouble for which he is not powerful enough.

(Tirmizhi, Fiten 67)

Abu Huraira narrates: One day, the Messenger of Allah told his Ashab (people): “Who of you will take my words and act with them and will teach them to people who will act with them?” I hastily said: “I will! O’ Messenger of Allah!”. He held my hand and told me five things: “– Beware of forbidden things, become the greatest servant of Allah! – Be pleased with what Allah has given you, become the richest of the men! Show kindness to thy neighbor, become a believer. – Ask for others what you ask for thyself, become a Muslim! – Do not laugh too much for laughing too much kills the heart.”

(Tirmizhi, Piety 2; Ibn Maajah, Piety 24)

Inviting the Cruel or The Ones On the Wrong Way To The Right Way

Anas narrates: The Messenger of Allah wrote and sent letters to Chosroes and Negus - And he was not the Negus for whom the Prophet had said the funeral prayers- and every other despot inviting them to Allah, the Exalted.

(Muslim, Jihad 75; Tirmizhi, Seeking Permission 23)

“Avoid cruelty for cruelty will be darkness on the judgment day. Avoid meanness, too, for meanness destroyed the people before you and lead them to spill each other’s blood and consider all the Haram as Halal.”

(Muslim, Righteousness 56)

Abu Umame narrates: While the Messenger of Allah was near the first ritual of satan stoning someone approached Him and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Which Jihad is the most virtuous?”

The Messenger did not answer. When the man saw him in the second ritual of satan stoning he asked the same question again. The prophet kept silent. The Akaba finished stoning and while He was getting on the horse and putting His foot in the stirrup, He said:

“Where is the man who asked me the question?”

The man said: “Here I am, O Messenger of Allah!”

The Messenger of Allah said: “(The most virtuous Jihad) is to say the right to the cruel sultan!

(Ibn Maajah, 4012)

Jihad In The Times Of Jihad, Patience In The Times Of Patience

Ibn Abbas narrates: Abdurrahman Ibn Avf and some of his friends approached Muhammad (sav) in Mecca and said:

“When we were once Idol worshippers we were people with dignity and eminence. After we became Muslims we turned into despicable people (allow us to respond the idol worshippers).”

The Messenger told them: “I was commanded to forgive. Don’t you dare to respond the idol worshippers.”

(Nasai, Jihad 1)

Mr. Ibrahim Canan gives an explanation about this hadith in his work “The Encyclopedia of Hadiths / Kutub-i Sitte”;

“One of the main strategies Muhammad (sav) followed against the idol worshippers was patience. He always advised patience to Muslims in their lives in Mecca. The only weapon Muslims responded against all the insults, oppression, torture and even killings was; patience. As you can see in the example above, there were people sometimes appealing Muhammad (sav) by saying, “We don’t have any patience… We used to have dignity and eminence. We lost them all… We, too, have people, tribes and relatives, we are strong enough to defend ourselves from the insults made, let us respond!” But the Messenger of Allah refused such requests each and every time.

As details about the lifting of the boycott called on against Muslims show, patience really operated as an effective weapon at that powerless time of Muslims. Many hearts revolted against the cruelty done to Muslims and began to soften towards Muslims. We have to mention patience as one of the reasons why Hamza and Omar became Muslims.

While the patience for the cruelty done was softening the hearts, it, at the same time, brought about a rupture and clique among the cruel.

In short, Muhammad (sav) advised patience until the cruelty reached such a level of violence that it crushed and destroyed them. But when it began to reach that level, he commanded them for the “Hijra (Migration)” and again He did not allow them to respond or fight.

If a Jihad had been allowed in Mecca, the idol worshippers would have found a case to totally exterminate the believers and could have done it. Since they could not find a front which was before them and which threatened their lives, they could not attack, but they rather made individual tortures. And that helped the believers to stay alive and to multiply gradually in numbers.

Jihad was permitted in the times of Medina. Because a state took shape there. The number of people increased and was more than to be exterminated. On those conditions Jihad meant power and eminence. And actually it happened just like that, each battle resulted in an increase in goods due to the booties gotten, in moral due to each victory and in eminence.

When the principles of Muhammad (sav) about patience, migration and Jihad is examined and analyzed in its historical process, one will see that there is no difference among them according to intention and aim. All three are applied with the same purpose according to the conditions. Whatever Jihad is in the sense of harm in the times of patience, so is patience in the times of Jihad.

People who choose Islam’s notification as an ideal for themselves must know the place of the foundations of patience, migration and Jihad in Muhammad’s (sav) life of prophethood. We believe that in the great success of the Messenger of Allah lies the usage of these three seemingly different things in place and time.”

What Is The Main Goal; Kill or Keep Alive, Win or Lose?

Muslim Ibn al-Harith narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent us on an expedition. When we reached the place of attack, I galloped my horse and outstripped my companions, and the people of that locality received me with a great noise. I said to them: Say “There is no god but Allah,” and you will be protected. They said this. My companions blamed me, saying that I deprived them of the booty.

When we came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), they told him what I had done. So he called me, appreciating what I had done, and said: “Allah has recorded for you so and so (a reward) for every man of them.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) then said: “I shall write a will for you after me.” He did this and stamped it, and gave it to me.

(Abu Dawoud, General Behavior 110)

Islam, Muhammad (sav) and Muslims Are Free From What People Like Osama Bin Laden Do

Ibn Omar narrates: The Prophet sent Khalid bin Al-Walid to the tribe of Jadhima [not to a war but to invite them to Islam] and Khalid invited them to Islam but they could not express themselves by saying, “We have embraced Islam” but they started saying “Saba'na! Saba'na (We have come out of one religion to another).” Khalid kept on killing (some of) them and taking (some of) them as captives and gave every one of us his Captive. When there came the day then Khalid ordered that each man (i.e. Muslim soldier) should kill his captive, I said:

“By Allah, I will not kill my captive, and none of my companions will kill his captive.” When we reached the Prophet, we mentioned to him the whole story. On that, the Prophet raised both his hands and said:

“O Allah! I am free from what Khalid has done.” He repeated it twice.

(According to other sources: The Messenger of Allah sent Ali and paid a ransom for each person killed accidentally.)

(Bukhari, Megazi 58, Judgments 35; Nasai, Kudat 16)

Messenger Muhammad (sav) Was Compassionate, So Must Be His Ummah

Al-Bahzi narrates: The Messenger of Allah set off from Medina to go to Mecca with His Ihram on… He arrived to a place called Isaie; It was a place between Rhuveise and Arc. There was a gazelle sleeping in a hot shadow. The Messenger of Allah ordered one of the people to stay there so that no one would disturb the animal until all of the people walked past.

(Muwatta, Hadj (Pilgrimage) 79; Nasai, Hadj (Pilgrimage) 78)

Yes, if you are the Ummah of a prophet who tries not to disturb a gazelle He meets on a journey and orders people to show mercy even to animals with many examples, you cannot be reckless or merciless, you cannot choose the easy way out, you cannot choose civil targets just because military targets are too difficult!..

If you believe in a prophet who gave orders and applied restrictions many examples of which are shown above, you cannot act contrary to these orders and restrictions, you cannot ignore them, you cannot kill innocent people inconsiderately!..

If the Allah you believe is the All-Knowing (Al-Alim) and who is the Most Great (Al-Kabir) and if you believe in the words “Allahu Ekber” (Allah is the Greatest) you cannot exceed or violate the boundaries determined by Allah the Almighty!..

If you are a believer you cannot comment on the commands and forbidden things of Allah the way you want or deviate them from their essence as you wish, you cannot use Islam and Muslims for your non-Islamic actions, you cannot comment on the religion and religious scripts contrary to your reason of existence and your soul!...

If you are going to take Muhammad (sav) as an example, you cannot move ruthlessly, recklessly and without listening to a piece of advice or decide on a subject without knowing, examining or arguing!..

So, stop being a part of the verses “If you believe what evil does your belief order you” and stop deviating others as you deviate yourself… and realize why Allah the Almighty tells the believers to “have faith” in Qur’an…

Stop being a “bad example”, repent all your sins, overcome your self (fire of vengeance), do not be the servant of the Satan, but be the servant of Allah and follow the Messenger of Allah…

If I call out to you, if I write things to you, it is just for the fragments of faith that I believe is inside of you hoping that you may see the truth, give up making mistakes and display the effort to become models and try to compensate for your sins… This is the difficult way and the way that befits a Muslim; So then, how about defeating your satans, how about repenting and praying for forgiveness, how about stopping to be a part of the cruelty by giving the enemies the excuses?..

Yes, according to 92. verse of Al-Nesa you are not a believer, according to the verses 14., 93. of Al-Nesa, 32. of Al-Maedah and 68.-69. of Al-Furqan you will abide in hell forever, according to the verses 178. of Al-Baqarah, 45. of Al-Maedah and 33. of Bani Esrail you should be killed equally and according to the verses 27. and 229 of Al-Baqarah and 47. of Al-Maedah you are wicked and cruel… Again according to the verse 32. of Al-Maedah you can make all people live by preventing new murders (by declaring that you are on a wrong way and by trying to convince others who made the same mistakes not to make them again), according to the verses 157. of Ali-Imran, 111. of Bara’ah and 58. of Al-Hajj you can expect heaven by sacrificing your life in the way of Allah or by surrendering and by being executed, according to the verse 8. of Al-Tahreem you can remit your sins by repenting to Allah… otherwise;

Do you have any answers or how will you answer when Muhammad (sav) asks you, too “O’ Osama, why did you kill? Why did you embarrass me?” Above all, how will you reply when Allah the Almighty asks these questions, when He calls you to account, when He tells you “why did you ignore My verses, why didn’t you follow My Prophet, why did you kill the innocent, why did you open fire to My servants, why did you help cruelty and the cruel?” What answers will you give?..

Allah the Almighty commands justice in many verses of Him and again Allah the Almighty forbids cruelty in many verses of Him, but you do not act fair and you do not stop the cruelty, in other words you ignore many of Allah’s verses and act just the opposite to the way of the Messenger… you can ruin your own worlds and your after-life, but you do not have the right to ruin others’ worlds and after-life!..

Yes, with many verses and hadiths deceit, extremism (depravity), defeatism (sedition), murder, wickedness, sedition, sin, slander, treachery, obstinacy, extravagance, evil, faction, lies are forbidden; Why do you commit Haram? It is forbidden to even persist in Haram? Why do you persist in Haram?..

You do not care about the thousands of people who were killed in the 11th September attack, the hundreds of passengers from many different nations in the airplanes, the hundreds of Africans who were killed in the bombing of the embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, tens of Muslims who were killed in the explosions in Istanbul, the defenseless westerner tourists who were killed in the attacks in Indonesia, you aim at Muslims and mosques in Iraq, you endanger the lives of millions of Muslims by not surrendering for the murders you committed, you turn all the Muslims and hundred of millions of people into targets due to the image you have created around the world, you endanger their lives, goods, honor, comfort and you do not care about it at all…

Even when Allah the Almighty tells in Qur’an that killing someone unjustly is a great sin like killing all the people (5/32), that killing a Muslim intentionally is rewarded with hell eternally (4/93), even when killing is considered as one of the greatest sins in Muhammad’s (sav) hadiths, you still commit murders without batting an eye and plan other murders when given the opportunity; Can there be such humanity, can there be such an Islam? or Do you not fear Allah at all? Aren’t you ashamed a bit of His servants? How do you ignore the things Allah and His Prophet value, protect and forbid to touch, how can you make them targets?..

Muslims do not need your kindness or goodness, just like in the words “please take your shadow off me”, remove your evil hands, stop leaving the Muslims face to face with various disasters, that’s what we are all asking!.. If I were strong enough, I would bring to book all of you just the way it is written in the 9. verse of Al-Hujurat (49), but Allah holds someone responsible only for what he is capable of and my power is enough to write, it is enough for written Jihad… If the things I write are wrong, if there are any mistakes, if there is cruelty in what I write, then you can criticize me, too, if you know something, tell me the right thing, give me some advice; If you have something to say, if the things you say are true, then I will join Al Qaeda, but can you give up your unjust way and Al Qaeda when you are religiously convinced? Ask this to yourself and if your answer is negative, if it is to difficult for you to turn to the right way, then it means that the way you follow is wrong, so the only way is to give up…

Do People Like Osama Bin Laden Have The Right To Live As To Islam?

“If anyone kills a believer deliberately, the murderer will have to be killed in retaliation for this. Allah’s curse and wrath shall be on him whoever prevents this retaliation. Allah will refuse any good from him no matter if they are compulsory or nafila.”

(Abu Dawoud, Al-Diyat (Blood-wit) 17; Nasai, Oath 29)

“If anyone's intercession intervenes as an obstacle to one of the punishments prescribed by Allah, he has opposed Allah. If anyone disputes knowingly about something which is false, he remains in the displeasure of Allah till he desists. And if anyone makes an untruthful accusation against a Muslim, he will be made by Allah to dwell in the corrupt fluid flowing from the inhabitants of Hell till he retracts his statement. He whoever helps an unjust case, will turn back with the wrath of Allah.

(Abu Dawoud, Judicial Decisions (Al-Aqdiyya) 14)

According to Islam killing someone unjustly is a great sin and the one(s) who commit(s) this crime are murderers and shall be killed (unless the victim’s kins forgive him or accept blood-money to resolve it) in retaliation… and again executing the murderer is the right of the state (law system) not the kins of the victim, individuals (kins) do not have the right to reach verdicts or execute people (otherwise blood feud cannot be prevented)… (Does an organization have the right to draw conclusions and to apply them and leave Muslims and Muslim countries in a difficult situation?!)

Then, what is the punishment according to the Law of Islam for Osama bin Laden and the others who are responsible for the killings of many innocent people?.. Would Osama bin Laden still be alive, if he was living in a country where Islam was really practiced?.. Or let me ask this question differently: If a country, where Muhammad (sav) was the president, were existing today, what verdict would be reached about Osama bin Laden and the others?..

Yes, what penalty would people who caused hundred of thousands of Muslims and thousands of innocent people to die get according to the Law of Islam? Since there is retaliation, will the so-called representative of Islam and Muslims Al Qaeda bring Osama bin Laden and the other ringleaders to trial or deliver them to a country where they will be brought to trial? If they don’t, how can an organization that refuses to follow the verdicts of Allah be the representative of Islam?..

Muslims Repent Their Sins, And Avoid Cruelty

Allah the Almighty is the Forgiver, has eternal forgiveness, He promised that He would forgive the penitents who really repent; So, stop this cruelty, repent and turn yourself to the right way, sacrifice your life on this way if necessary…

According to the verse 32. of Al-Maedah whoever kills someone else unjustly is as if he has killed all the people, And whoever spares a life, then it is as if he has given life to all the people… Yes, you (Osama and the other supporting terrorists) give life to all the people by hindering new murders and preventing innocent people from being killed unjustly… Yes, prevent new cruelties from happening against both non-Muslims and Muslims, you can do it; then see the truth, repent and pray for forgiveness…

Just like Hitler did the greatest harm to the German people, just like Saddam did the greatest harm to the Iraqi people, you are doing the greatest harm to the Muslims… Hitler wanted to glorify the Germans, but since the way he followed was wrong, he caused the greatest harm on the Germans and did the greatest treachery to them… So, learn your lessons from such kind of examples from the past as it is commanded in Qur’an and stop all the cruelties without persisting on the same mistakes…

Who Is Wrong: Allah and His Prophets (Moses, Jesus, Muhammad (sav)) or The Cruel (like Osama, Bush, Blair, Putin, Sharon)?

Even if many western Countries owe their development of today (and in the history) to colonialism (imperialism), many countries in the past and today reached their welfare due to their successes in the fields of trading, industry and tourism and these examples (Germany, Japan, the Switzerland, South Korea, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Sweden..) display the fact that countries do not have to apply cruelty to reach success…

On the other hand, these colonial powers are not satisfied just with the cruelty they did during actual occupation but continue planting seeds of separation after they leave that region, they prevent people they exploit from living in prosperity and comfort, is that the way of Jesus, is that following Jesus?..

We can tell many of the western countries’, most of all Britain, Spain and France’s exploiting brutalities, The United States of America is the user of many brutalities and cruelties from the massacre of Indians to the occupation of Iraq, from Vietnam to Latin America, from the Middle East to the Philippines and this state terrorism is always ignored. The slaughter Osama bin Laden and organizations like Al Qaeda could not do in thousand years is done in just a couple of months or years by devil-like people who apply state terrorism and who are smartly dressed terrorists like Bush, Blair, Putin and Sharon and they are not criticized sufficiently, however, it should not be forgotten that organizations like Al Qaeda, at the same time, feed their savage policies…

Yes, O’ Bush, Blair, Putin, Sharon and the other cruel people; stop causing defeatism in the world and torturing people, do not follow the path of the pharaoh, but follow the path of the prophets… You do not have to torture people to be successful, believing or claiming the opposite means that you do not believe in Allah and His Messengers and it means that you find the reason why Allah forbid cruelty meaningless… Yes, Why would Allah and His Messengers forbid cruelty if there was no other way to become powerful without cruelty for the USA and the other countries? One has to consider this a little!..

Both the many successful countries of today and the fair and just governing of Muhammad (sav) and the first four Caliphs and the may experiences in the history of Islam proves that to be successful, to reach comfort and security there is no reason to apply cruelty… Besides, with the Money spent on defense and assault many of the humanity’s problems could (have) be(en) solved, a strong cooperation and friendship could (have) be(en) established…

And when a Muslim applies terror or terrorism in the same way, it means that he believes that “there are no legal methods in Islam to struggle” which in itself is not right either… And the so-called Muslims should consider this: The enemies of Muhammad (sav) did not reach any success although they applied cruelty, but Muhammad (sav) was successful without applying cruelty; Doesn’t that mean anything to you, isn’t there any wisdom for you, aren’t there any lessons you can take?...

Who Is More A Terrorist: Osama or Bush, Blair, Putin, Sharon etc.?

If the first one (Osama bin Laden) is a terrorist, if the first one’s way the way of terrorism, what are the others?.. What is the definition and explanation of the things they are doing?..

And why does the world stay silent about their brutality, state terrorism, reckless violence and does not show the sufficient reactions?..

If the ones who slaughter thousands of innocent people are terrorists, what are the ones who slaughter hundred of thousands of innocent people?..

If the ones who blow up a couple of buildings are terrorists, what are the ones who blow up thousands of buildings and destroy whole cities?

Aren’t the ones who follow policies supporting terrorism the collaborators of terrorism?..

Yes, these questions are true for both sides; If the things done by Bush are regarded as brutality by Al Qaeda, what are the things Al Qaeda does? (Al Qaeda would carry out the same brutalities if they had the opportunities) If the actions of Bush and Sharon are wrong or illegal, why are the same actions of Al Qaeda right or legal?.. Surely both sides are cruel and both sides’ actions are illegal…

If we should make a comparison, the chart below shows it clearly; Here in this chart you see the brutalities of great terrorists like Osama, Bush, Blair, Putin and Sharon and the approximate numbers of the people slaughtered in Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya and Palestine (my purpose is not to belittle the massacre of organizations like Al Qaeda, besides killing just one person is a great cruelty, too; what’s more, we should not forget the ones who are injured, maimed, object to torture and violence and whose land / houses / goods / lives are destroyed):

Al-Qaeda

Bush

Blair

Putin

Sharon

A couple of thousand

A couple of hundred thousand

A couple of hundred thousand

A couple of hundred thousand

A couple of thousand

The USA and her leaders (with their satellites like England) occupied Iraq with many lies (mass destructive weapons, potential and imminent threat, etc.) and used every kind of inhuman tortures and brutalities, violated the international law, brought cruelty and destruction in the name of bringing the so-called democracy although no-one invited them to their country, they ruined all the cities and slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people…

Aren’t these illegal fight and inconsiderate attacks a state terrorism? What are the American troops doing in Iraq, why are they killing the innocent people? If the hands of Osama bin Laden are in blood, aren’t the terrorist leaders of powerful states in blood up to their neck? Then who is more a terrorist or which of them is not a terrorist?

While the Westerners who are seemingly following the way of Jesus associate Islam and Muslims with terrorism, why don’t they associate these savage Christians and Jews with terrorism?.. Do those who utter the phrase “Islamic terror” because of the ignorant and wicked Muslims call Bush’s policies (who calls himself religious) as “Christian terror”?.. And why does the media volunteer as the “magicians of the pharaoh” instead of becoming the “voice of the right”?.. O’ people, wake up, make a reaction; Allah has given you the ability to think and the sense of justice, use them!..

While The Ones Who Don’t Follow Jesus Are Rebellious, What About The Ones Who Don’t Follow Muhammad (sav)?

Jesus did not command many of the actions (the principles of faith and deeds) of the Christians in the past or today, for instance:

He never said “I am the God, worship me or three Gods”…

He never said “Fill your churches (temples) with pictures and statues(idols) of Me, my mother and saints”…

He never said “Think of Me, the holy spirit, my mother, your saints as God (deity), worship us, ask from us”…

He never said “Bless the cross, bread, wine, baptize in water, take communion with bread and wine”…

He never said “Do not circumscribe, eat pork, take interest, ignore the rules of the religion about , legitimize all kinds of debauchery”…

He never said “Your priests should determine the principles of faith and worship of your religion, bless your sins, must live a life of sexual purity”…

He never said “Do not follow Me and My apostles, but follow Paulus, embrace the comments and practices opposite to My and My apostles’ comments and practices”…

He never said “Harm all the people who are not Christians, do not consider them as humans, make them all believe in your religion, make genocide”…

He never said “Slaughter each other and humanity with Crusades, the inquisition, fight of creeds, colonialism (imperialism), your political and economic ideologies, World Wars”…

He never said “Defame Islam, Qur’an, Muhammad (sav) and Muslims, employ the vile tongue of slander against them, deviate the truth as much as possible”…

Just the way many Christians do not follow the way of Jesus, Just the way many Jews do not follow the way of Moses, which is an obvious fact, some of the Muslims, unfortunately, do not follow the way of Muhammad (sav) and actually follow just the opposite path… Just like those who behave that way are sinners according to the Holy Book, so are the Muslims who make the same mistakes and they should stop their revolt and repent their sins…

When a sinner was asked why he hadn’t been doing the Namaz (Salat), he replied “Because, that’s what is written in Qur’an”, but actually in Qur’an it says “Do not approach Namaz when you are drunk”; Similarly, Qur’an an Islam orders Jihad, but only at the right time, in the right way and just on legal grounds… Just the way it is evil to take the part saying “do not approach Namaz” and ignore the part saying “when you are drunk”, it is also evil to take the part saying “do Jihad” and ignore the part saying “without going too far”…

***

Just the way Bush and his backers apply state terrorism to fight against individual and organizational terrorism -which is actually a result of their own cruel policy- is not a legal attitude or a proper and right method, just the way people like them and their actions cannot be representatives of Jesus or Christianity, nor can the ones whose behavior has nothing to do with Islam and who call themselves “Muslim” be representatives of Islam and Muslims.

Just the way Bush and his backers apply terror does not legitimize terrorism according to Christianity, in other words no one can say “There is terrorism in the religion of Jesus”, likewise no one can make comments like “There is terror in Islam” just because of the terrorist actions of some Muslims.

On the other hand, for instance it is the prime minister of England, Tony Blair who brought terror to London; yes, there were some illegal terrorist attacks in London, but they were just reactions to actions, even if they are unacceptable one should keep that in mind. Both kinds of terrorism feed each other and why should the behaviors described as “religious” when one side does them and as “legal/rightful” when the other side does them? Is the cruelty done by the ones who pretend to bring democracy to Iraq a “democratic” behavior just because they claim so? If not so, why should the illegal actions of some terrorists be “Islamic” just because they say “We are doing Islamic Jihad”?

Just the way Jesus criticizes hypocritical clerics and their fast because of that reason, we have the same situation here (Matthew, 6:16-18); Actually fasting is one of the greatest ways of worshipping but just the way it has no value if it is not done for Allah’s consent but just for a show-off, in other words just the way inappropriate intentions make even worshipping meaningless, the things done are worthless and religiously wrong if the way and method is illegal, even though the reasons are legal.

Just the way Jewish clerics who do wrong deeds are not the representatives of the religion of Moses or the religion of Allah, Moses conveyed, the sinful Muslims who do wrong deeds are not and cannot be the representatives of Islam or Muhammad (sav) either. Just as we have mentioned in the previous pages, it is obvious that Muhammad (sav) disapproved illegal actions or the mistakes of some Sahabas. And the “is not one of us” hadiths are also standards about this subject; for instance “He who deceits is not one of us!”, so why should “a killer, a sedative, evil person” be one of us? Many rabbis and priests, even popes cannot be representatives of Moses and Jesus let alone people like Bush, Blair, Sharon, why should 3-5 terrorists be representatives of Islam or Muslims?..

The ones who put forward many accusations and claims against Islam and Muslims are themselves witness that this actually is the reality, for instance, while they never say “Saddam represents Islam, the Ba’ath regime is an Islamic regime”, they can say “Osama represents Islam, Jihad is terrorism, etc.”, in other words they are witness to their own wrong!.. People like Saddam are personnel of these cruel people just to be “used & thrown away”, Osama and his collaborators -knowingly or unknowingly- function in the same way today…

A Summons For The Cruel or

“Long Live The Hell For The Cruel!”

O’ Bush, Blair, Putin, Sharon and the other cruel people; why cannot Muhammad (sav) be a Messenger according to you while many people about whom many accusations and slanders were made in the Holy Book can? Why don’t you believe in Muhammad (sav) who has all the standards of a prophet mentioned in the Holy Book? You take the other prophets’ personalities and miracles as a proof for their prophethood, why do you deny the miracle of miracles Qur’an and Muhammad’s (sav) prophethood?

Since Moses and Jesus did not say “No prophet will come after Me”, how dare you not accept the last prophet of Allah? You accept that sorcerers were defeated by Moses and that doctors were defeated by Jesus, why don’t you affirm that the men of letters were defeated by Muhammad (sav) -who was even illiterate- and why don’t you confirm the miraculous Qur’an?.. You must accept the right in the name of faith and all the holy books of Allah and His Messengers…

Such kind of cruel people should consider these verses from the last revelation of Allah, Qur’an which displays its miraculous sides with each passing day and the words of which are all true; Allah the Almighty is just and He created humans with the sense of justice, yes each person reacts to unfair treatments he experiences and Allah, who gave us this characteristic, is Himself fair and He will take vengeance from all the cruel people for what they did to the oppressed…

Allah unquestionably exists, after-life is unquestionably true (not believing Allah is stupidity, believing Allah and not believing after-life is a lack of consideration) and Allah will never turn from what He has promised; everyone will pay for everything they did in this world, the good will go to heaven and the bad will go to hell… Here are some verses from Qur’an and the Holy Book about this subject;

« When it is said to him, “Fear Allah”, He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Enough for him is Hell;-An evil bed indeed (To lie on)! » (2/206)

« (Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment. » (3/11)

« O Mankind! The Messenger hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: It is best for you. But if ye reject Faith, to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not “Trinity”: desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. » (4/170-171)

« But if the thief repents after his crime, and amends his conduct, Allah turneth to him in forgiveness; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. » (5/39)

« Say: O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses. Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did. » (5/77-79)

« The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell. » (8/36)

« Know they not that for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, is the Fire of Hell?- wherein they shall dwell. That is the supreme disgrace. » (9/63)

« But verily thy Lord,- to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends,- thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. » (16/119)

« Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. » (25/70)

« And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? » (29/68)

« And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin. » (33/58)

« On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty? » (39/60)

« One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution! » (44/16)

« Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed, And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery); And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; And whenever they saw them, they would say, “Behold! These are the people truly astray!” But they had not been sent as keepers over them! But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things). Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? » (83/29-36)

« Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). » (85/10-11)

The Last Sermon of Messenger Muhammad (sav)

This sermon which was set out to more than a hundred thousand Muslims by Muhammad (sav) in the year 632 in Mecca during Hajja-tul-Wada (the Farewell Pilgrimage) is, at the same time, the essence and summary of Islam which is the declaration of Muhammad (sav); This Exemplifying Messenger (how happy for those who take Him as model), said after praising and thanking Allah:

O’ People! Listen to my words, for I do not know whether we shall ever meet again and perform Hajj after this year.

O’ people! Verily your blood, your property and your honor are sacred and inviolable until you appear before your Lord, as the sacred inviolability of this day of yours, this month of yours and this very town (of yours).

O’ my people! Verily you will soon meet your Lord and you will be held answerable for your actions. Take heed not to go astray after me and strike one another’s necks. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly.

O’ my people! Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. All interest obligation is waived, under my feet. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (Interest). All interests are due to Abbas Ibn ‘Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.

O’ my people! The blood revenges of the days of ignorance are remitted. The first claim on blood I abolish is that of Ibn Rabiah bin Harith who was nursed in the tribe of Sa’ad and whom the Hudhayls killed.

O’ People! Changing the places of the forbidden months just to fight is to go too far in blasphemy. This is something the non-Muslims contradict with themselves. They declare a month forbidden but they declare it permissible the next year. They just do it to match the number Allah has declared forbidden and permissible. They call what Allah declared forbidden as permissible and the things that Allah declared permissible as forbidden. There is no doubt that time has turned back to the way Allah created and to His order.

O’ people! Verily, the Satan is disappointed at ever being worshipped in this land of yours, but he will be pleased by obedience in anything (short of worship that is) in matters you may be disposed to think insignificant, so beware of him in your matters of religion.

O’ people! Treat the women kindly, since they are your helpers and not in a position to manage their affairs themselves. Fear Allah concerning women, for verily you have taken them on the security of Allah and have made their persons lawful unto you by words of Allah. Verily you have got certain rights over your women and your women have certain rights over you. It is your right upon them to honor their conjugal rights, and not to commit acts of impropriety, which if they do, you are authorized by Allah to separate them from your beds and chastise them, but not severely, and if they refrain, then clothe and feed them properly.

O’ Believers! Verily I have left amongst you that which will never lead you astray, the Book of Allah, which if you hold fast you shall never go astray.

O’ Believers! Listen to my words and protect them well. Every Muslim is the brother of every other Muslim, and all the Muslims form one brotherhood. Nothing of his brother is lawful for a Muslim except what he himself gives willingly.

O’ my people! Do not do injustice to yourselves. You have rights on yourself.

O’ People! Your Allah is One. Your father is one, too. All mankind is from Adam, Adam is from soil. The most precious of you are the ones who has the most piety. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.

O’ People! And if you were asked about me, what would you say?

They answered, “We bear witness that you have conveyed the trust (of religion) and discharged your ministry of Prophethood and looked to our welfare.” Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) lifted his forefinger towards the sky and then pointing towards people said:

- Bear thou witness unto it! Bear thou witness unto it! Bear thou witness unto it!

(Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawoud, Tirmizhi)
